$2500 … if you pay a teenager to do it once a week for $25… thats a 100x breakeven. I bought a dumb Husqvarna (you have to install a boundary wire) for $600. I do wish mine could go in the front yard as well though.
The last part made me laugh so hard thanks for that 😂
Haha incredible
I wouldn't really classify these things as lawn mowers at best they are lawn trimmers. If you have to get out your real lawn mower to cut the grass short enough for this thing to work it isn't a lawn mower,
I have this mower. The NRTK is not free for life. It is free for the first year. It is $32.90 a year after the first year. This is listed on their website.
any chance they'll send me one too?
Does it plow the snow for colder climates?
6 years ago, I bought the Husqvarna 450X for my new house. It was the same money as a John Deere, just without me having to do the work. Str8 up no-brainer. Best money I ever spent in my life! 6 years going strong, but there were some issues. I hated having to install the cables. You really get familiar with all the buggy areas. And the tree root was a problem, so I had to take a hatchet to it. Didn't want to, but whatever. And it doesn't do ditches, so that's how I get my workout in. I love it tho. Freakin' love it.
And 7:53 by no means would those little razors hurt the tree roots. They'd bounce off them until the spinning disk suffered too many beatings.
heads up, think your audio was going up and down a bit throughout the video
ive been running navimows the last 3 years now. I110n to a H3000 to now a x430 and a I210 awd on my 1.7ac lot and i love them. i too am waiting for a better HA intergration to come along so i can pair them with my local weather data for more effiecent mowing. i mounted a tapo solar canera on my x430 since there in no way to live view the onboard canera feed.
How do you like that this robot won't have any support because of your awesome government who made these robot illegal
I think they call that intent to harm… first degree etc. because you planned it.
living in Arizona myself dying over here
I imagine you'd be able to set up some sort of notification if the mower is waiting at the gate. Either a motion sensor, proximity sensor, air tag or camera.
After you’re done testing it, can you please ship it over to me? I’ll send you my address via email since I actually have a lawn to mow and I’ll do more videos. Thanks in advance.
Does it just leave the grass in the yard or do you have to empty a bin?
The garage is more a UV and heat protection than a rain protection. But you will learn that the hard way…
Given man traps are illegal basically everywhere, there's probably not going to be an edward scissorhands mode.
I clicked on the link to the Amazon store expecting to be floored by the price…But honestly after having bought Greenworks 40v yard tools, and a simple push mower being $250 bucks, only having to 10X that to eliminate the labor component is starting to be reasonable calculus. Depending on how much you value your weekends, even one hour every weekend during mowing season adds up quickly. If you have a fairly simple lawn I could see this reimbursing you for time after only about 2 years.
Hope you enjoyed it because US government is banning ChiCom mowers and robots. Buh, bye.
It's only 2.5k

I believe the new Ubiquiti AI camera could be used to automate a gate for a robotic mower. By mounting a custom license plate on the mower, the camera could recognize it as an authorized vehicle. This detection could then be used to trigger the gate to open automatically, creating a seamless automation workflow. A YouTuber at "https://youtube.com/@jakkuh_t?si=rr1QS8PsKQy3rxps" (https://youtube.com/@jakkuh_t?si=rr1QS8PsKQy3rxps) recently published a video demonstrating the camera opening his gate.
When it comes to robot mowers, Navimow is one of the few names to trust. This mower is very very good, but it sucks for edges for me. That is, edges on a curb, not enclosed yards. My x430 fell off my curb twice in the first 2 days of use. I had to disable edge mowing. Unfortunately that means I'm still out there mowing or trimming, but its a lot less work than having to mow an entire half-acre myself.
12:36 walking the dog 😭😂
I ended up waiting for the X1 Lidar to be avail, its going to be here in a few days. hopefully it does just as well.
Hi
I wouldn't allow children or pets anywhere near it no matter what safety features it had. If something goes wrong it could get real bad real quick. Better safe than sorry.
Hook up a mouse to your phone. I've done that for robot vacuums. Way better than using my big ole fingers!
