I bought a 500hz 1440p oled by Samsung 6 months ago. 1080 at 480hz is not impressive at all
the only bad thing for this monitor is the green/cyan tint then the brightness i will wait for better variation of this type of spec then it will be worth it
since this is the first iteration of the tech its not worth it your bassicly buying a test panel not saying its bad but wasting money when something updated with this tech and panel will improve everything bad in a few months to a year
Is it possible for these dual modes to release in 4k / 1440p or does the res need to be 5k to achieve 1440p. I would buy one but I want dual mode 1440p.
Can u review benq mobiuz ex271qz 500hz 27 inch 2k oled monitor?
Purple Haze all in my Brain, Lately things just don't seem the same
anybody else preorder through the newegg link?
This is the type of monitor u use in a low-lit room. So the brightness is really not a big deal if you game in a dark room or low light room. Now if you're in a room where you have the lights on or the sun beaming into your room that feels like someone threw a flashbang in there.. Its still fine the brightness is actually really good. So his complaint about the Brightness really comes down to taste. He likes to have his monitor super bright.
Its like almost double the price of the pg27ucdm and msi 272urx which i believe both have the newest qdoled panel. I'd think it's not worth that much of a price difference…

6:08 no the matte looks absolutely HORRIBLLEEEEEE!
6:30 exactly the matte coating spreads out the light more making reflections even more impossible to deal with while using the monitor…
Finally! A glossy OLED monitor. I'm getting tired of ugly matte monitors. OLED is simply made for glossy screens and 32" is the sweet spot for monitors.
What I'm concerned is the stand has such wide feet that occupies too much space for my minimalist adjustable standing desk.
Ordered myself an open box – like new XG32UCWMG from amazon for £593 the other day, thought the £60 saved was worth it, then ASUS brought out their cashback offer for that monitor, if the monitor comes completely fine, no issues, as it is just an open box unit it shouldn't have been used much if at all. Then that just becomes weighing up paying £5 just to open a box seal. The following day amazon decides to add a 20% off for all used items, so I just reordered myself the XG32UCWMG in mint condition (by amazons standards & checks) For £474.70, that is insane to me and I'm going to absolutely love it as my first choice originally.
The plan was the XG32UQWMS as the newer "sequel" to the UCWMG but for an unconfirmed £130 increase it didn't feel worth to me, the other comparison was this monitor for £999.
Now, I have a dual 60hz 1080p setup (one 24", the other 22") and have used it for years (2nd monitor is a decade old, but it just served its role perfectly), never felt like investing in my in the QoL since buying a 1080p 165hz monitor 3-4 years ago and the screen cracking, because I admittedly was very lazy with packing it for the move between houses, lesson learned. For someone who has probably spent more hours their my life looking at a screen than the real world it never made sense not to invest.
Having a dual monitor setup meant I go all in on one, or I have fun with the different kinds of technology available and test differences for myself, that's where I took an interest in miniled. With a 4K 240hz, 1080p 480hz dual mode WOLED, it made sense to me to look at a 1440p option using the newer technology, seeing how great it is, for a second monitor. The MSI MAG 274QPF X30MV. People mention monitoring naming as a joke but I love it, it just sticks so easily in my head haha, it takes understanding each part. I believe the total is around £760 for 2 incredible monitors, the plan became seeing what the PG27UCWM price tag split between two got me & it worked out, before amazon sales the two worked out to £912. (£319 – £30 off the MSI) and (£593 – open box, like new). The day after (£288 – Amazon deal for the MSI) and (£474.70 – Amazon open box 20% off).
Under the condition all works well and I don't need to send it back, and with the 3 year warranty, it's a price that I don't see myself in 3 years looking at the market and thinking, damn, I missed out, or "I spent £999 on this a couple years ago & technological advancements have dropped it by half" (an exaggeration, but something I think about)
mate…. you talk way too much…. i skipped half of your video
FFS
1440p 360hz?
I play single player games a few times a year and play r6 siege ranked almost nighty with the guys. This monitor is exactly what I want. It is too expensive but its the only option so it is what it is
your nose reminds me the yellow bird from angry birds 😂
I wonder if this monitor is almost £800 better than my ASUS TUF VG27AQML5A that I bought for £230.
It sucks that the stand is so huge! I can’t fit it on my shelf i have on my desk.
Asus fan boi is happy again
WOW HDR looks actually really good. Returnal example was a great choice.
So gigabyte sponsored a review video of asus oled monitor ?
Recieved the 32" version in the UK yesterday, I will probably end up wall mounting it as the stand causes it to sit 3/4 of a foot from the wall which is disappointing considering its a large display, i also need to look at tweeking the colour settings as it seems a bit off atm compared to my lg oleds.
your monitor reviews are the best because they're from a user's perspective instead of showing spec sheets and graphs
