Remember all the “tipsters” and “leaksters” said the iPhone 18 Pro series will feature a 24 MP selfie camera? Nowhere to be found. Both the 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max still have an 18 MP camera on the front.
Remember throughout 2025 when all the “tipsters” and “leaksters” said the at the time upcoming 17 Pro series will feature 8K video recording? What happened? Still no 8K video to be found even in the 18 Pro series.

pretty sure a lot of ppl who buy pros. arent pros, which is why they'll say "same shit". if you don't push the phone, there's no reason to get a pro in the first place. for someone coming from a 15 pro who uses their phone for work, editing, shooting, gaming, etc, this is a massive upgrade.

Apple continues to treat its users like fools this year, just like every other. It is 2027, and apart from the processor, there are virtually no acceptable innovations. Even their foldable model brings nothing new; folding phones have already been around for years—it’s just got an Apple logo on it, and that’s all.
What could have been done differently? Electronic ink could have been used on the chassis, allowing users to choose and switch to any color they want at any time without consuming battery power, but unfortunately, it’s not there. Since Apple produces VR-concept products, a new camera architecture could have been developed for Apple Vision Pro and other VR platforms to support at least 12K super-wide, 220-degree field-of-view videos, but alas, that is missing too. Solid-state batteries featuring the latest technology could have been implemented—ultra-thin, massive, and incredible capacities around 30,000 mAh—but unfortunately, that's absent as well. There has been no real innovation in charging speeds for a decade because they rely on outdated battery tech. They still haven't even placed a small screen on the rear camera island, which makes no sense at all.
While users expect major innovations from Apple every year, the company continuously puts out the exact same phones with zero changes, yet prices keep soaring to extreme levels. Apple hasn't produced any actual technology for the past 8 years; it just sells processors. This nonsense has gone on long enough—it is practically a scam. When will people finally open their eyes and see the truth?
