amazing except that for my 2021 version I sent the first unit back for many dead pixel. The second unit also have dead pixel but fortunately only one, but however it shown 2 burned green led in keyord key after 8 month of moderate use (and with stable white light by the way since I dont like rgb effects). All for 2000€ laptop. Amazing MSI. Well done
MSI, can you confirm if model the model Model Stealth GS66 12UGS-039 has the phase changing liquid metal new thermal solution?
Can someone tell me whether it has the same crappy RGB like GS65? I like the keyboard typing experience, but the RGB backlight is rubbish. After 3 months, green color started to die on some keys. It always green color. You'll get replacement under warranty, but it will eventually broke again in near future (in my case 1 month later)
When the warranty period is over, you'll have to watch your green color die one by one.
Does this have the new liquid metal thermal mentioned in ces2022 or is that only for the gs77 model

I love this minimalistic laptop design👍.
There is a small inaccuracy in the video at 0:39 seconds, the GS77 model appears (this can be seen from the hinges of the laptop screen).

This is one of very few laptops that doesn’t have that tapered edge design towards the track pad, the profile of the this laptop is wonderfully unified
The chassis is more slim and closed-in for this particular laptop, so there's less room for the hardware to breathe when things get hot during demanding usage, both the i9 12900H and RTX 3080 Ti will most likely be deliberately throttled or running at less voltage/wattage in order to keep things cool.
There's no way in hell that both of those crazy powerful hardware will be running at 100% power like in the Raider GE76 12 UHS for example. It will probably have the Max-Q design of the RTX 3080 Ti, or be running at much less wattage, so it can sustain just enough heat in its chassis.
If you want the full fat 12th gen experience in a gaming laptop, go for the 12th gen Raider GE76 or one of the Creator laptops. If you want a hybrid office and gaming laptop, but not an extreme gaming orientated machine, then this Stealth one will serve you well.
With how expensive it is and without a numeric keypad? It is practically a very expensive tablet! For that I buy a notebook from the apple that has worse quality and features, but I can boast of buying the most expensive and how useless I am!
