You need to look at the 1% and 0.1% .. otherwise, if you're a FPS player, it's at best, partial data. One of the big reasons that I like Alder Lake is because of its reduced stutter and frame drops.

Need recommendations for prebuilt pc preferably or build… I already have a Dell s3220dgf monitor. I want a gaming pc that can play battlefield 2042 and total war warhammer 3, no need for streaming/video editing etc only thing besides gaming would be 3d printing software. I want to spend around $1200 could go up to $1300 for the right rig. I don't need cool looks just something that will be solid. I'd prefer 1440p to take advantage of my monitor and I'm a casual gamer, not competitively gaming so I don't need the highest frame rate, looking for a balance between graphics/performance/value. Ive been watching tons of videos beating my head against the wall and figured I should just ask more experienced people. Thanks for suggestions/links in advance!

i9 vs i7 vs i5* ????
I’m upgrading to the i7 12700k from the i9 10900k.
I’m running a 3070 with a R5 5600x at 1440p. In warzone with medium/high settings my gpu is at 98%, cpu fluctuates between 40-60% and depending where I am on the map I can get anywhere between 110-160fps with an average of 120fps. My monitor is 144hz so I need vsync enabled so I don’t screen tear above 144fps. I’m really happy with this combination as I’m getting the most bang for bucks out of every component. In Warzone my gpu is the bottleneck and in multiplayer and campaign my monitor is the bottleneck which is as an ideal situation as one could hope for.
I wouldn't buy any of the current Intel 12th gen lineup of cpu's, there's a lot of bugs and quirks to get rid of before it will be justified to buy an entire new platform.Better off waiting for either Raptor Lake (13th gen Intel) or AMD 3D V-cache cpu's for the AM4 platform early 2022.
