Thanks for using my song on that nice rig, much respect guys!
I suppose it makes sense that amp would fry that driver; that's a tiny magnet for a proper subwoofer. Especially for anything which you want to reproduce low frequencies well, you generally want as much magnetic mass as possible to move all the air necessary – and do it accurately as well
Colin got his upgrade and dipped.
This is the sexiest tech upgrade yet. TIG welder very sexy.
Wow, the last time I saw a computer running on a Q6600 was my first PC that I built back in 2014, and it was outdated even then. Going to a 12-series cpu is an insane upgrade!
"…thast's the first thing u've braked…"
Props for Being a Welder
Whats with the Michigan on the Wall?
Love how many of these have had big audio overhauls with people buying new surround sound and audiophile setups, while Colin is out here building his own subwoofer.
Tidal is a shitty streaming Service. In general for high res Audio, only qobuz really applies, since everyone else uses either compressed Audio and/or has a proprietary dynamic volume limiter going on all the time.
that shop is amazing
Linus is Tommy Pickles
That warehouse is absolutely awesome, I would love to get a tour of it
20:35 Is that a creeper or a penis?
Was linus literally wearing shoes? 😶
A trigger on the Tig is awesome you will love it
that tapping arm is sick as hell
That’s a sick workshop
This whole video is so mechanically over my head but it seems cool
as soon as Linus heard "Q6600" he's like yep, you definitely need a upgrade
Does he still work at LTT??
"This is 12th gen" me looking at my 4th gen i7 4790 😀
Nice Channellocks I may have made them
I just built a new computer in the case you didn’t want. 🙂
No Colin in the latest LMG staff overview. He must not longer be at LTT ☹️
I love this series because you can clearly tell everyone loves taking the piss out of Linus for VHB taping SSDs to server cases LOL
TIG Torch buttons suck and they're not called a TIG finger, that's an entirely different product 😉
"He has 2 DNS servers on his network"
insert DNS haiku
Every guy wants a workshop like Colin's.
Hey, don't knock the Q6600 lol. Mine got me from 2009 all the way until last year with only an SSD, and multiple GPU upgrades! I planned to upgrade for years, but it kept managing to run new games fine until some recent games like Forza horizon 4, Doom Eternal and some others just refused to run (just closing after the splash screens which I assumed was due to lack of cpu instruction sets). OC'd to 3ghz for 12 yrs and still going as secondary system, I'd say I still got my money's worth! 🤣
"and you're proud of that" 😂
Linus is my favorite part of this and most videos
finally someone who appreciates the difference of good digital audio!
When I think Canadian I think of Colin’s Place. Sickkk Shop
This guy is the coolest😎
The pneumatic tapping arm is so cool!
Having your boss destroy everything and check where you live, or 5000 USD. Choose wisely.
At 18:55 I think Linus means to say DHCP server when he says DNS server. DNS doesn't distribute IP addresses, DHCP does.
What happened to Colin? Is he still working for LTT?
Nice workshop 🙂 and nice machines …. special the lathe .:) – btw … did he use Tormach – myself i use Herlem, DMG and Vollmer

Oi
13:40 should be 'high pass' not 'low pass' – low pass means lower frequencies get through, not what you need to prevent over excursion.
