this is not marketing is lying: these are boss are accepting to employ some liers in sales and marketing as you; you seem an bigger lier.
What about the Ports that run through the Chipset and the ones that are directly connected through the CPU? Would that make a difference?
Real gamers don't use tools, they have skills and easily adapt.
I wonder if they tried to do some trick where the controller of the special port is checked for interruptions slightly more often? Even if this is the case you get maybe some ns of improvement so basically useless, but just a thought
Thanks, going to go buy the cheapest motherboard now 😀
That face thou
Anthony is the best
i dont care how much anthony gets paid he deserves a raise
Maby iff you are using usb 1.1 you will get lag on the mouse but no one is using usb 1.1

Y'all did Anthony dirty with those face filters during the "Lightning Gaming Ports." How dare you manipulate the most beloved face in tech?
Lightning gaming ports. For the users who have a never ending loop of 10gbps data transferring over their regular USB lines.
it's not uncommon for gaming keyboards to use USB 3, but that's actually because the RGB uses more power than a USB 2 port can deliver. My Corsair K70 RGB Lux has a two plug cable so you can use it on USB 2, but the 2nd plug is just for power and you don't need to use it if you plug it into a USB 3 port. And even on 1 ms polling rate it still works just fine on USB 2.
In theory having multiple USB controllers on the motherboard will actually increase latency, not decrease it, because you increase the number of jumps the signal has to make to reach the CPU, but we're talking nanoseconds here, not something you'll ever notice
I watched this video 3 times for Anthony's lighting gaming port face
0:13 okay, i need help. Where is that 'LELELELELE" from? I remember it was in a slightly recent video, but I can't remember, pls help
Interestly I recently started using the Elgato Facecam and this kind of port actually ended up being the only port that worked flawlessly on my motherboard.
Not sure exactly what's going on here or why all my other USB 3.0 ports were getting stutter issues except for this one but I imagine this may be one of the few examples of actually being able to utilise the kind of extra data threshold in some way through a device like this.
People talking about the mouse dps and whatnot when in fact what matters the most is the material on the bottom and how it slides along with the surface it slides on.
Yes, "Sh!t Manufacturers Say" indeed.
Of course it's a very rare event when something generally better doesn't come with it's own compromises so I'm certainly not complaining. The issue with such peripherals (if there is any issue at all, which I strongly doubt) comes down to latency. Using that metric alone PS2 is a much more elegant standard that requires many orders of magnitude less communication and processing than USB's "sledgehammer the crack a nut" approach.
Just to make it clear for the hard of reading/thinking I'm very happy we have USB in all it's flavours. I simply like the elegance of PS2.
"I was playing with a friend in Finland, so I was playing with a bunch of Russians."
That's a real big brain moment.
Yeah ! Yeah ! Would you dare help your public detect if we had bought a "Bait& Switch" SSD from the known suspects ??
BS. Just call it.
Would have liked to see a scope hooked up to this. I mean we all knew that it's not a real world issue, most definitely not on a test bench without tons of other USB devices. So this test was basically useless.
Please don't use the troll filter. It's more evil than the lying marketing bullshit.
your editor is amazing, GO lightning gaming port!!!!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
My mouse is attached to a usb extender daisy chain into a hub, into a USB 3.0 port.
lul.
I doubt the engineer who implemented the design also made the marketing for it. Would have been nice to see if you could induce a difference by saturating different controllers.
5:26 Suomi mainittu!
Now I would love to see this with a USB hub and wireless peripherals because I get a lot of interference trying to couch game but I guess that might be because of the shared 2.4ghz band or is it because USB 3.0 literally interferes with the 2.4 band not sure
What if you use the usb hub on the monitor? Has this been tested?
PS: 1 second = 1000MS
Really when you load up the USB controller to the point that your computer is saturated maybe it will help. How much is a faction of a second that even the thing of having 1 USB controller is the same as having 2.
I like their thought and agree with you on the point of this shouldn't affect the latency of the mouse and keyboard. Breaking this down for streamers and workstation type of usage might be good to see where the bottleneck really does start. Is it in the controller? Is it with your amount of PCI lanes? Is all of this just an idea anyways because we were so harsh on the bottleneck of the Mac Mini's Arm? I would really like to see your take on breaking this down and where that bottleneck is now.
Could be somewhat useful if these "lightning USB ports" were effectively reducing the jitters… Something that EEG acquisition devices could use (I remember that the researchers team I was working with was using parallel ports on a very old computer in order to remove these jitters that were fairly noticeable with the USB ports…)
Man, the one making subtitles kinda feels off
Polling – pulling
Razer – Razor
How about connecting that gaming chair to that lightning usb ports?
Oh, but you forgot the goat sacrifice and you are only supposed to change ports on full moon
Plugging a mouse into a USB 3 feels a bit like plugging a DVD writer into a NVMe socket.
My mental adviser: Emperor Anthony is't a thing. Emperor Anthony 0:27
Clearly this is for botters who misunderstood how to multibox games and did it backwards, so they have 8 keyboards and mice plugged in all inputting the exact same data.
Love you Anthony <3
This feels like it targeting the kind of 13 year old elite gamer who blames their hardware or team mates for every loss.
