I have a quick question about how you did your "theater setup" in a previous video. i think it has something to do with setting the tone with the smart lights based on whether the TV was on/off …. err something. Somewhere in there i remember something about accomplishing this with a smart plug with built in energy monitoring. i mean that does make sense but what was the smart plug again? And how did you go about this?

Hey Reed, love your channel and watch all the videos, great work and keep it up! Any chance you can do a video on running a home system WiFi with a lot of devices and your recommendation for hardware? I am running 73 devices through WiFi and 15 through Zigbee with Home Assistant and 3 Deco mesh X60 routers but finding different devices are getting laggy and sometimes not working or slow to respond. Thanks for the hard work you put in here.

Hey brother , one question . I own Merkury smart bulbs link to Google and Amazon and only a few are not responsive at times. Says it’s not supported, haven’t been set up yet etc. do you have a recommendation of smart bulbs. That are always reliable?

Every youtuber hits the point where they think starting a second channel makes sense. A year later they all realize they would have made a shit ton more keeping that content on their main channel. Best of luck tho.
