@msi gaming can u reply why mine 3080ti in gt77 runing only 4.0 x8 despite the m.2 nvme 5.0 is not occupied? and also it came with ddr set for 4000mhz and no matter what i do i cant set it to 4800mhz as claimed. returning this one and hoping the replacement will be ok. in my opinion the memory in my case 2×32 ddr5 should be installed in bank 1 and 3 but it came with memory in bank 0 and 3 and someho system runs only 4000mhz like it would when 128gb quad channel is installed. any light in to this?
Whenever I click on task bar (where it shows options for wifi – sound etc) it first lags for a few miliseconds and then the light on the power button (on keyb oard) becomes red/orange for a second, after screen unfreezes, the light on the power button turns back to it's ice blue color. any ideas?

This is an incredible system! I purchased mine yesterday, but am very sad to say I have not been able to find a backpack that fits it. Apparently, this system sometimes is shipped with a backpack, but I did not receive one from the local retailer. I am kind of bummed out that the backpack specific to this machine was not sent to me, nor can I find one online to purchase.
bought it … satisfied… i like the availabilty that you can manually push those ventilators… but I do have one issue, I haven't figure out how to maximise the performance when only on battery. For example a game runs (while on power cord) with 120FPS, but on a battery only 20 FPS… where could this be tweeked? pls help

Has anyone had fan noise issues? specifically the 2 smaller fans? Whenever they start to turn it sounds like a hard disk is writing/reading then the noise goes away. I had mine sent back and when they replaced the fan, issue is still there, in fact it was worse.

just got mine yesterday and it is amazing! I am however a bit unsure if the screen is actually in good shape since on my left corners both top and bottom there seems to be a slightly higher pressure on the screen by the frame. This results in a brighter area. Only noticeable when e.g. watching a movie that has black bars top and bottom, but still not perfect?
Don't buy msi.

Notice they don't talk about the display? Cause it's the worst 4K display on the market. Mine has 11 spots of intense bleed and HDR video doesn't work. For 6 grand Australian. Thanks MSI! Yes., everything else about it is fantastic but the display is what I look at all day.

MSI should of keep the big chunky power cable and HDMI at the rear side. I know its because of thermal. But hire new engineers and designer. There must be a way to keep the cables behind.

I don't know if I want to take this kind of expensive gamble on a laptop that may not have good product support in the event of problems. I might have to go with something made in the US, even though it might mean that I won't be getting the highest performing machine available.

I bought a mSI dragon edition in 2008 and it conked out after a few months. since then i never bought MSI again,,,,
Hey, just got mine a week ago in China. You don't need to reinstall windows to go English- just update to windows pro and you can add the language pack. Everything so far is good but the screen resolution has suddenly gone super low res.. lots of banding in gradients and no idea how to change- nothing seems to make any difference. Also I cant get SteelSeries GG to work… Other than that I rendered two scenes out of Unreal- both were 4k 30 minute scenes. My desktop 3090 took 12 hours to render, and the Titan took 20 hours to render a different camera in the same scene. So maybe its not a monster at crushing renders, but its still very impressive for its size.
I was told by an official dealer the titan gt77 does not have the phase change thermal pad on cpu n gpu…
This was extremely helpful! I bought mine in China and had to completely wipe it to install an English version of windows. Then I had to guess which MSI software to download. I had no idea about the steel series program…
Don't buy MSI products. You're left all alone when you get a defective product with issues. The company don't stand by their products. I'm stuck with a MSI GE76 top of the line model I bought two months ago from MSI India. Thermal throttles to a 100C and beyond under load and cuts down on performance. The intense battery drain caused a battery wear that is at 6 percent and it is irreversible. MSI India won't do RMA. MSI Taiwan doesn't respond to me. What a great way to bag $5660USD from customers by cheating and selling a defective laptop. I'm moving to consumer court.

I just hope the sound quality can be improved on gt77, since the speaker is really sucks on its previous gt76.
Even with coolerboost ON "Max" during, heavy loads, my GT77 is still running kinda warm, 90+celcius CPU
