For this project, we used:
1) 1 tablespoon peanut butter
2) Toothpaste
3) Diet Soda (must be sugar free or seltzer water)
4) Plastic container
5) Baking soda
6) Lots of paper towels

If the goal was to put circular scratches on the disc I sure did that. The machine literally won’t even acknowledge a disc has been inserted now. What in the world did I do wrong?

No Way Coke Will Put Holes In The Disc. At 1996 My Mom's Coke Spiled On The Disc And It Made Holes So I Will Never Try This At All!
I tried the tooth paste & warm water & soap & lint free cloth did not work I'll try the method again than will let you all know if it worked the 2nd time around.

This is why DVD’s went unpopular. They take up too much space in your house and they are easily damaged.
I tried this by using dog shit instead of peanut butter. It didn't work.
I still saw many scratches so why would u say good as new I've seen many videos of people claiming those treatments remove scratches not true it just shines it up that's all not remove scratches…….

But this has special print on the disc, what about that? I’m trying to clean Star Wars:Clome Wars 2005 Volume Two, and it has one big scratch. It has been good, until now. Does the process stay the same? Will it get rid of the scratch?

At time 1:45 into video, the DVD was taken out of view. DVD may have been switched. ??? Not a good sign. 😕
Hate to break it to you but non of theses worked made it worse when what it was all ready was got stuck buying a hole new cd
BS! thanks for nothing but wasting everyone's time! Didn't even Finnish watching. You could have also said, to save some money, after wiping you $ss, take the dirty paper and rub it on your disk, then rinse disk. Would have done the same thing. Take this video off your site please so others do not have to watch it when searching for a solution.

omg my middle school self used to watch this, when PS2 games were scratched my brother and I were desperate for solutions, then we discovered Game Crazy offered professional cleaning for $3 a disc.

I actually tried this with one of my old messed up scratched DVDs and after it worked like new it didn't remove the scratches but ended up working then tried some videgame discs worked for some but not all try at your own risks it def just deep cleans the disc and gets rid of any dirt or dust in it.
I have a buddy the buddy holly story live dvd that all of a sudden skips in the middle of a song. Would this work to help get rid of the scratches?
