I mean it’s the closest thing to a desktop that’s still a laptop. It may just be me but I think of the motherboard as the main part of a laptop. But one day I dream that other company’s follow and it only pushes them further to allow things like replacing the cpu without a motherboard replacement lime if it’s am4 for example. I know that’s a really far stretch and is almost impossible while keeping it slim but maybe all of them don’t need to be super slim. It may never happen but I can wish at least.

Cool idea but real talk, why wouldn't you just hookup the laptop to a eGPU which, duh, is plugged into your monitor?

So… I have a dell G15, its ok; gets decent performance. BUT… it only has 8 gigs of ram, it really bottlenecks the performance, due to the 3050TI needing a lot of ram to run. I use 50% of my ram just in the home screen doing nothing.
id buy one of those if.. 1 i could upgrade the heat sink, 2 if it was under 300 bucks cad
