You don't need the plus model. the regular OnePlus 8 model has an 1.5 hours extra battery life and it's easier to hold in the hands. I got the regular OnePlus 8 model and it's freaking superb. Not a single complaint

Sounds like the pro is a better deal. However, I'm not sure if spending the additional $200 is worth it.
I would prefer 8 just because I have to carry 10gm less weight (more than 12 hrs a day) and a better battery output, while saving some money for a negligibly less performance on other aspects – 8 is the clear winner for me
