    perfect sound test :3

  1. I am thinking to buy a tkl keyboard in 150$ but this one doesn't include a wrist rest 🙁 can you tell me that is it comfortable to use without wrist rest?

  2. great review!

  3. I've got a Corsair K65 and I really like it. This one looks a bit more childish, and it doesn't have a wrist rest..? The wrist rest is one of my favorite parts of the K65. Couldn't live without it.

  4. Welcome to the champions club forsenCD

Some feedback after watching the review:

I don't use any macros because some anti cheat software in certain games don't like macros so I try to play it safe and don't touch macro editor at all. However for productivity, macros could be super useful: time saving and convenient, especially for video editing – creating shortcuts for certain commands. So if you are a "GAMER" and work with productivity programs, these types of keyboards could be a great 2 in one package deal.

Corsair have been known for their pretty pricey products and good build quality for a lot of years now. However, great build quality doesn't always mean good typing experience out of the box. Improving that requires some 3rd party modifications by users.

The rattling on some keys is probably because of the Cherry stabilizers – big keys like spacebar, enter, shift, backspace. Rattling or any unusual noise shouldn't be coming out of normal cherry red switches, they are pretty silent(okayish, not completely silent) since they are linear. You can lower rattling sound by lubing the stabilizers with some thin small brush and any lube intended for mechanical parts. The hollow typing feeling is probably because the keyboard inside is exactly like that: hollow. Some custom keyboards try to minimalize that hollow feeling by including thick foam inside. You can't really do much about it on this board from Corsair (unless you want to void your warranty and open it). And from my personal typing experience, ABS keycaps sound quieter than any PBT or double shot PBT ones. You can additionally suppress unwanted hollow noise from keycaps by including silicone rings under your keycaps.

I do agree with all the things you said in your verdict.
