Deals for Days. Big home savings are happening now.
I've had incandescent bulbs outlast LEDs. I prefer the incandescent.
I am jealous of your goodwill so many nerf guns in that toy section
2:25 I slightly disagree here, dollar store rope toys are a staple at my household and due to the nature of the product are usually high enough quality to make the purchase viable. Depending on the dog they can last a good week or two at least and with such a low price point they can easily be replaced when they start getting ratty or gross with far less cost than an overpriced equivalent. I highly recommend choosing dollar store rope toys for medium to small dogs as the material used to make it are usually recycled from clothing manufacturers or such and as a result are usually plenty good enough for a few days of fun(excluding those held together by glue such as circle rope toys) same with the rope balls you find there
Soup is much cheaper at the dollar tree, it's not as good as progresso but it gets the job done
I avoid Purina in general. Regardless of store or cost.
I made the mistake of buying Dollar Tree headphones for my portable DVD player some years back. BIG MISTAKE. I cranked the volume up all the way on the DVD player, and the sound was way too low! And about a few years ago I bought an audio cable to hook up my MP3 player to my car's aux input, and after a few months it started getting flaky. Never buy DT electronics! They're crap! 💩
honestly, a response to both this video and the one saying how amazing the dollar store can be, it feels like any item can be a hit or miss. it really depends on the brand and if the manufacturer was in a good mood most of the time.
GUM
I have always found it interesting how little cheese people of USA use to make pizza.
Here in Argentina we use more or less 400 grams for a large muzarella pizza
I get toys from the dollar store for my nephew all the time, no need to spend so much $$ on something that they lose interest in and, outgrow so fast
Do not buy ANY food at the Dollar Store!
I use dollar store cables on my galaxy fold
The electronics thing is so true! After buying three pairs of dollar store earbuds in less than a year, I finally learned my lesson and sprang for a set of high quality bluetooth headphones. You really do get what you pay for.
For some reason, store brand items are super cheap. I actually got a Sainsbury's brand 6-pack of crisps for 79p! What a bargain!
So in layman's terms
CHEAP BAD
EXSPENSIVE GOOD
Just stumbled upon this video was a good one however was a Tad disappointed to see the discount code for Amazon no longer works
I mostly use Dollar store phone cases to make my phone look nice. I very very barely drop mine so I think I'm good Òwó
If you are good at repairing things and don't have the thing, sometimes it makes sense to get the cheapo thing with the understanding that you'll eventually have to fix it. I guess that's why people buy Harbor Freight stuff.
I found this sort of hurting I only use a dollar store because it’s all me and my family can go to
$1 cellphone case to protect a $950 cellphone . Yup that’s my first world problem .
Currently in Indonesia, turns out they don't have "cheap only things store". If you are planning to move to Indonesia, expect a little bit too much priced items
Your putting down the dollar store
I away can get what I need
Say no to TP and yes to a bidet!
Dollar store led light bulbs don't last very long, think mine went out in like two months. Much better off spending the few extra bucks to get an actual bulb.
I can't say this strongly enough: Do not buy your prosthetic leg at the dollar store.
I have no problems with the dollar store people who put these ads up are always competing with the dollar store and they're losing money because people going there no one expects a little dollar toy to last more than a day no big deal but there's a lot of other stuff there that does help save money in my wallet
Tissues, napkins and paper plates!! Such a great bargain.
Funny that I bought Anker power bank 10000mah from their kiosk at a mall but it didnt last either. meh
actually alkaline batteries at the dollar store work just as well as energizer so I'm not sure where you are getting these "facts" from
What's wrong with tubeless toilet tissue?
pour people need these from the dollar store
I will NEVER buy dog treats from the dollar store. Whenever I go out I always buy my dogs treats. Well one time I was being lazy and didn’t want to stop just to buy dog treats. They ate them and they was SICK for 3 days!!! Throwing up, diarrhea, and that’s what I could see. I could only imagine how they felt. 😢😤😡
I remember toilet paper
TP and paper towels are definitely two of the things I won't cheap out on.
baby needs like bottles and pacifiers, and any dollar store lotions
What if my cat will only eat dollar store food
Lesson 1 , never buy sushi at the Dollar store
U can get some overstock stuff at dollar tree that is exactly what is sold in other stores but yeah there r some not so hot items too. Just have to recognize brands, read labels etc.
They used to carry westminster oyster crackers (for a few yrs) which r my favorite & sell for much more elsewhere (if u can even find them).
Anker is a great company! !
I feel like when it comes to phone cases most people buy based on style over safety
I actually did a test with the dollar store batteries. 2 Double As would last about a week in my 360 controller. A pair of Energizers lasted about 2 months.
3 subject notebooks are garbage. I want individual notebooks. In reality, binders and looseleaf are better because you can reuse the binder if it’s durable enough
LED bulbs have one issue: they’re not warm enough, that is the color of the light they produce. Too cool of a light is typically unpleasant and typically has a higher melanopic light content
My local Dollar Tree has, recently 60, 75 and 100w LED bulbs, some 3100k, some 5000k.
Rip lightbulbs
Lola most things y'all said is funny as Heck
Avoid buying off brand scotch tape as well. No stickiness. Sometimes you can find the actual Scotch brand which is better quality, but the rolls at Dollar Tree tend to have much less tape. On the other hand, perfectly adequate packing tape at Dollar Tree. Also kinda random but the DT safety pins are awful. They’re made of thin, flimsy wire. I agree with the other commenters and the video that generally, all food items are to be avoided but name brands… but as indicated in the video, often with name brand items at DT, the quantities are compromised so it’s not really a bargain. I also agree that metal kitchen tools and gadgets are junk at DT, but sponges, scrubby pads, retractable cleaning wands, and eraser sponges can’t be beat. Other things I love at Dollar Tree are many of the tools such as hammers, tape measures, screw drivers, rubber mallets, etc. But the foam paint brushes are terrible and flimsy. To me, the best bargains are the dinner and glassware. They carry a particular line of full sized simple and elegant white dinner plates, bowls and mugs that are beaded along the rim, a direct knockoff of a Martha Stewart design. Best of all, they’re porcelain, not stoneware, meaning they NEVER CHIP! Obviously they’ll break if dropped, but you know how some plates easily flake off around the edges? I have had twenty dinner plates for years and I use them every day or for company; I feel they’re the best thing I’ve purchased there. (Not always available but they tend to reappear eventually and often in other colors.). They also have really pretty and expensive looking and durable cobalt blue stemless wine glasses that I often give as gifts. They are elegant and just have an expensive look and feel to them. Also, they often carry equally attractive and durable highball glasses. Sorry I got distracted by adding DT likes which is unrelated to this video but related, I guess.
PS They often carry sunglasses that are a really good knockoff of tortoise shell Ray Bans. I get them for my “discerning” millennial children who would never wear them if the knew they were from the DT. They aren’t deceived enough to believe they’re Ray Bans but believe they are a more expensive knockoff from what they consider to be a more reputable store such as J Crew.
