Ive had this mousepad for over a year and the stiffed edges would be useless on this mousepad as the cloth doesn't come out at all even though I washed it multiple times.
If u clean it frequently the g640 would still lose the glide?

I was kinda surprised about the 3mm being thin remarks. I use the LTT deskpad, which is 3.5mm (a custom thickness) which I think is plenty plushy, so it's interesting to think that a .5mm reduction (or 1/7th) might make such a difference
Yeah the stitching is not an issue when it loses its glide in like a few months. You have to have a stack of these to use it long term.
I've used this pad for about a year and I do agree that it's overpriced for what it is – there are better priced alternatives out there with stitched edges and around the same size.
This mouse pad exists from way before VALORANT was a thing. When brand new it's fast, after usage it becomes slightly more muddy and controlled. Definitely not worth the retail price.
I gave up on it because I wanted something more easier to maintain and clean, so I switched to Cordura surface after it.
