What "does not" you do not say! I don't want to tell you believe me but you have no idea what "DOESN'T" … let me help you a little so you don't think I'm a hypocrite:
-In PRO mode on the photo you can only access the camera 1x
-In PRO mode you can shoot with the 3 cameras but you can only shoot with the main one

Does anyone know why Aperture mode is suddnely not zooming that much anymore? When i am switching to Aperture mode it is usting the same zoom as in Portrait or normal photo

These are available in "pristine" condition with 12 month warranty in March 2021…. Instead of a new contract for 24 months I'm gonna go for a used p40 pro for just over £400.
Camera and dual SIM are top of my priority list… Anyone think there is better value to be had with another phone?

Having bought this phone and having accepted the challenges of living without Google services, and having found work around, I am disappointed with the camera.
Here is why, this is a very subjective observation, you might like the camera very much, but this my personal thoughts.
The camera works flawlessly, the image quality is probably as good as any else out there, it might lack in somethings but compensate it others, as far as image quality is concerned compared to other phones. I can definitely recommend it as far as this concerned, it as good or sometimes even better than the competitors.
The following are the flaws for me, and unless they were addressed, I would hesitate in buying this again. It is very limited in how it captures raw images, if you are just going to shoot in jpeg, this will not bother you, and I suggest you buy this without a second consideration, as long as you can live without Google services and play store, and you can find ways around that, Youtube videos explaining how.
I can't capture raw photos in night mode, or with master AI, considering one of the main reasons for buying this was due to it's night photography, and computational photography, in these both cases it disappointints. In fact you can capture raw photos in only that one particular pro mode, where you take photos in fully manual mode. This is not a problem for me, because I am accustomed at doing this with professional grade dedicated cameras.
The main reason I bought this was its night mode and master AI mode, for the purposes of computational photography, both of which work, but have no ability to shoot in raw format in both of these modes for post processing properly later.
It might suit you, but I thought I would make people aware of this, if they are concerned about this.
This is a really good video but the echo needs to be heavily reduced. The echo is quite annoying and made it hard for me to get through the video.
Now I see why the huawei ban was introduced. Without it, Huawei would be number one in sales! American companys couldn't take the competition.

I still use the P9pro as my phone, just because it still works well…and take videos and photos with a Mate 20pro.Never had any problem with the phones.Always enjoyed! Reliable and the cams have an amazing DR. As I never had an iPhone….is the iphone12pro the better choice for making videos, than the Huawei?
This is how you should review a phone super camera features. Not just stick to the auto mode. Huawei has the best feature, but one of my favourite is the Light Painting->Silky Water because we can shout a long exposure shot (for example silky waterfall/river stream) in bright day time without any ND filter needed and no worries about the overexposure image.
