I have the series 7 it’s cool but it gets scratches a lot like a month after having it I had like 6 scratches
First video I’ve ever watched I love you Chris
Anyone else here just to be extra sure you can take it into the shower?
For some new information – one guy on the internet made a video that the first time he went to the sea with his watch, the watch stopped working so he called apple and they said – the warranty does not cover water damage. So… I don't know what to think of it.
Great inforamtive vedio thanx brother
2:05 so what’s the difference between ‘50 m shallow water’ and should not be used in shallow depths ?
To dunk or not to dunk? That is the question…
Thank you very much.
Will it survive the same water test but with salt water ?
Me:*watched the entire video
My brain: I still don’t think i should bring it to shower
How to get a color face instead if white or black.
it would be cool if this same test was done 2 years after to see if it still is water and dust proof. I have had both a fossil smart watch and apple watch S3 break from being in the water but only after 1.5 years or more. On Apples site it does say soap damages the water proof seal over time so I think thats why both mine broke since I showered with them often.
flour is soft. u should use dust or sand
But why don’t they give warranty on water damage.. it’s like if you screw it while swimming.. that’s your fault
I washed mine in 40 degrees for a hour in a washing machine and dried it in my drier for a hour it survived
Seems to me, a better dust test would be a wind chamber so you can simulate high energy dust particulates, such as machine woodcutting.
You cannot match my Casio watch, I wore for almost 20 years. It is natural disaster proof and runs perfectly.
I’m kind of having a hard time believing that you were able to accurately replicate the weight of meters of water with compressed air from a bicycle pump and a plastic jar. While the air above the water was more than likely at 71 psi, the water isn’t that easily compressed. So beneath the surface I’m having a hard time believing that watch experienced the weight of 50 meters of water on top of it.
Can u do same video for samsung watch 4
I learned nothing… it's not the same with "filtered" water as in the ocean. Also it's not the same as the watch just sitting there in the water, your creating the "pressure" above the water in the empty space, that's not the same as swimming with the watch and the pressure against the watch as you move it around.
Only thing I was looking forward to from this video was the drop test, I can understand you not wanting to just break your money away but then why make the video 🤷🏻♂️…
10 minutes I wont be getting back..
Informative and entertaining video. Perfect length also, plus very clean editing. 10/10.
Easily scratched! I owned the Series 4 before this and it took years and strong impacts to show obvious scratches, my new S7 though lightly brushed our smooth wooden floor and I got the entire right edge screatched from top to bottom, and deep ones too. False advertisements! This is the first time I got disappointed with apples quality. I looked at forums and turns out it's getting famous for being the most easily scratched apple watch glass. So bad! I hope they offer replacements.
