Women everywhere will rejoice if more toilets were hooked up this way, so when men don't close the lid, it will be all taken care of! Marriages might even be saved! LOL PS Though his idea is pretty clever, it can be updated by using strong clear fishing line & stronger adhesive & tying the line with a sturdy knot. Not sure what it is called, it's used in sailing & camping, but it would provide a more stable attachment. One can even attach the line to the side of the toilet bowl with some sort of tubing or other attachment where you could draw the line through. Just a few ideas…
