Ah yes… going to the middle of the desert to dive into the world's deepest pool so that you can pretend you're exploring a post apocalyptic landscape for the price of a simple eye-gouging at the fact that we are currently living through a mass extinction while democracy falls apart and capitalism reveals it's true authoritarian face, because if that's not an apocalypse enough for you then nothing ever will. Not for that money, NO i would put it into a proper holiday.
Why would I go to Dubai, when I can dive in freshwater with that clarity to over 350 feet deep? Feet deep is a clue to where it is. It is a global dive site fir any freshwater rescue.
Rather dive the caves of Mt Gambier, or the J class subs off Port Phillip heads in Melbourne!
