Okay, i won't the G502. I'll buy the G502 X Plus, instead! It's better, and it pisses you off apparently, which is a bonus. Also, i use it for FPS, and I'm quite happy with it. Destiny 2, MWII, and many others. I love the functionality the extra buttons give.
In D2:
the Sniper Button is remapped to uncharged melee
G5 is grenade
G4 is class ability
G8 is charged melee
G7 is finisher
G9 is block
I've used this setup for over 4 years, with Corsair's G502 ripoff, the Dark Core Pro, and with the legendary G502 itself, both wired, and wireless. G502 is the best mouse I've ever used. And here's the kicker: i'm 28, and hands and wrists are just fine, so i don't know what you're on about.
This mouse is dogshit I don't care what anyone says Every time I spam with a gun the dpi buttons get in the way. not to mention the click button doesn't last that long. DON"T BUY THIS MOUSE

Just bought the x plus and it’s too light lol Not a “pro” competitive wannabe but I remember the good old days when weights came with our mice. Coming from the MX 3 (Not for gaming admittedly) this feels almost too light to where it’s feeling cheap. I can’t imagine spending $100+ on anything that’s sub 70 grams

Nah, but being serious, I never understood the thing for lightweight mice, I personally prefer them heavier.
Bought the first ever 502 a few months after it came out and still use it to this day (currently needing a replacement because it has started to get that horrible greasy feeling even though I clean it daily and I am very careful with not having dirty hands near my electronics. The mouse is top tier, extremely versatile, there are games where the amount of buttons really do help a lot, like on CoD Zombies, since you have easy access to the usual d-pad functions on your mouse hand, also, for creative suite purposes the buttons have been a huuuge time saver for me, the scroll wheel is also something I love about the mouse. I don't think it's overrated, it just isn't for someone like you that just prefers something simple and light.

Lets be real… this mouse is not for noobs… nevermind all the things you can do with it beyond gaming… and i havent even looked into macro capability, which im sure is on par.
Just ordered G502x… brings me back to my first proper mouse: MX518.

This guy is just a weak dude. I'm using my G502 hero with all the weights equipped.
It's terrible, once I get my new mouse probably next month…I'm literally throwing it in the trash, not even gonna bother with giving it away. If people think the weight of a mouse doesn't matter…it does, if you're using the mouse for 2-4 hours…the weight starts to become apparent…and you'll feel it on your wrist. I'm not a weak dude, I'm heavy into training calisthenics often…but I broke my wrist about a decade ago and I get wrist pains…this mouse sucks for that, and I'm realizing I need a light and easy mouse. Don't buy it…let Logitech just discontinue it, or… what I think they should do is just make a smaller and lighter version of it…I like the infinity scroll wheel and I think they should put it on other mice, and that's all I like about it, but the weight of it isn't worth that. I'm happily going back to a regular scroll wheel.
Im getting tired of this mouse too i do love it though. The dpi. Uttons up top are my volume up down and the sniper button is used for ult in ow2 or other abilities in games. Thats why i love it. I am ready to change though

I was told Logitech mice are good. My 9 year old Razer Ouroboros was broken so I bought the g502 lightspeed and it's so damn INACCURATE that it feels like the cursor moves on its own for a moment every minute. On top of that the dpi is wrong and the software is terrible. I have to use my 9 year old broken mouse instead of this.. feels good for anything other than fps games tho. I use the scrollwheel a lot

IDK man, maybe I'mused too much for a 100gram+ mice, but damn those ultralight mice are uncomfortable as fuck. Heavier mice have more inertia, that's how they feel more precise for me. Ultralight mice with holes in them not only look nasty and dusty for obvious reasons, they also feel inaccurate for my movements.
I bought this a few months ago and I don't use it at all, I'm surprised by the poor quality of the front two buttons, I don't feel like I've pressed anything at all, the middle wheel is a disaster, rough, imprecise and noisy
I play with a Pro wireless as i prefer a lightweight mouse.
The G502 is a terrible mouse imo, but no where near as bad as that tattoo!

Using this mouse like since its exist .. I am Just average guy ..dont hit gym too .. I feel very comfortable with this mouse bro .. this is best design that can fit my hands so perfectly .. may be it didnt suits you but dont suggest others not to buy it .. its a good mouse pleased many people
I have a G402, very similar to the G502, from day one, never got any problem with it. If it gets dirty I just clean it, Imagine that… The cable is not a problem at all, I have a lot of space in front of the mouse, never got problems with the button placement and I play a lot of FPS, I don't think that 120g (G502) or 109g (G402) is that heavy for a mouse, the rock that you tape on it is heavier and even though you could still move it…

bruh he is right about the mouse and I have used and still use g502's first version from when it came out. People need to try different mouse, tho this one works but good for certain scenarios only.
As a player of gd (geometry dash) I disagree with what I saw and heard in the video. The cable has started to give me problems but because I'm on a small table and anyway I could hit the cable on the edge of the table so it doesn't bother me and it was a great change from a mouse from 9 years ago with inflated battery, failing sensor, ugly clicking sensation and shitty mousepad I prefer it without weights but you get used to it (well yeah it's harder to do mouse flips lol)

I can already tell this is a stupid video before watching.
Not everyone has the same priorities as you. Not everyone is a competitive FPS player and needs an ultralight mouse with only the most basic features. The G502 isn't bad. It just isn't the mouse for you.
The problem isn't the mouse or its weight, it's your grip. Palm grip requires you to move your wrist way more than fingertip grip where you just move the mouse under your hand by moving your fingers. It also extremely easy to make small movements that way.
The actual problem with the mouse is that the rubber grip for your thumb wears down after 3-4 years down to the bare plastic and the scroll wheel notches smooth down to a point where your finger slips over it.
I found with 3 weights it's perfect, mice that are light feel cheap

I figure having a decent weight mouse helps with stability for precise movements. Where as a super light one would move to much. Just me though
Lol ur opinion is garbage because as far as I know, they never marketed it as fast paced fps. Nobody gonna avoid considering this mouse for ur video lol. If it doesn't suit you, pick something else. And yes it's made for all type of use so most people will be okay with what you have mentioned.
Too much effort to move around? Stop using a sandpaper mouse pad and strengthen up your baby wrists. My 13 year old niece uses this mouse and loves how fast it is to move around compared to some others. I have an IT friend with 0 muscles and he insists on using it with all the weights in it.
I've been using it for years and love it and I'm not a Logitech fanboy. It's just a damn good mouse.
