can i use i5 13600K without gpu?

Why only i5 ?
Since this is meant to be a more “budget” build to combo with the 4090. Would the Z690 version of the tomahawk work just as fine performance wise with the same components?

Nice build and love ur content so far, found your channel last week while researching components for a build and watched a few, fun content for real!
I have all my components arriving in a few days for my first build in about 10 years. Gone high end 13900k, z790 MB, DRR5 and 4090 etc. (been saving for a year and now feels like the right time tech wise) i just pray everything is compatible and i dont break anything lol. Your vids are great to watch, but i may need a more in depth explanation of things like all the MB connectors etc so ill scour through your vids and hopefully you have some like that! Im sure failing that the instructions may come in handy 😂

Have you done a comparison between near identical builds with a DDR4 board vs a DDR5 board? I wonder if the bottleneck is in the subsystem and memory?
