I was going to buy a 3090 but If I find them new/used people want what a 4080 costs so I just bought a 4080.
The 4080 is just a dumb value proposition. If you're going to go up to $1200 for a GFX card you might as well shell out the extra $400 and get the 4090 that just absolutely smashes everything below it. The 4080 should be a $700-800 card, $1200 is just dumb and I hope it rots on shelves
why dont you mountthe switch board on some stand next to you below the desk or somerhting .. instead of always reaching across the table..

I have a 4080. Yeah it's expensive…but the performance is awesome too. Watching benchmarks I was nervous but after installing and using…I was blown away. I upgraded from 3080 and it smashes the 3080 on all fronts. Very happy with the 4080 and its power consumption is epic! If you do content creation look into the 4080's performance, it's EPIC! Miles ahead over 3090 ti even!
