We wound up with a bunch of pool noodles from old projects and figured we would make some use of them. Camping toilet is my favorite although I would never tell anyone that… oops.

I liked the household dog hose because it hurts my dog with a normal hose.
Ugh. That toilet seat use was gross.
I put some in the gap between the garage door opener frame and the building. It cut the dust down quite a bit. I put some in my boots now they stand up.

It occurs to me you could use the same solution you did for pants for shirts. I've had shirts hang up in the closet for many months develop a crease along the top where came in contact with the hanger. Perhaps a pool noodle cut to fit along the top of the hangar might have lessened or prevented that.

If you have a bunk bed with really terrible
, hard, metal, ladder steps, use a pool noodle to surroud the step for a better cushion for your feet. Works wonders!!
