Everyone loves a handmade gift, so spice up your holidays and break out the paper! We’re going to make an awesome Christmas wreath using just paper products and maybe a little glue.
Here is how to build this project, you will need the following items:
1. Paper Coffee Filters
2 Cardboard
3. Scissors
4. Pan Lid
5. Glue (Optional)
6. Battery Powered Christmas Lights (Optional)
7. Stapler

2 Cardboard

7. Stapler
To start, cut a large circle from the cardboard. Next you need to grab some coffee filters and fold two of them in half at a time and then fold them again to form an arrow shape.
Now staple the filters to the cardboard circle, slowly working your way around until you have a nice fluffy design.
That is the basic design, now we can dress it up with ribbon, lights or even dye the filters. Enjoy! Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday from Household Hacker!

Hey I did something like this in fourth grade! But instead of cardboard we used a metal hanger that we rounded and instead of paper we used foldtop sandwich bags that we wrapped around the hangers.Ahh memories

80 coffee filters is about $6 CND. Batteries + battery pack could be what? Another $6? Then you have to own a glue gun. Buying a decent christmas wreath is about $16 (and no effort involved in making it). Is it worth the effort? Depends if you like crafts. This could be a fun family project at the very least.
Note: Must use a Swingline brand stapler.
