  1. OK but serious question: Astro robot vs flying drone? Which one wins?

  2. So let's get this straight Amazon robots takes your job away at work and now takes away your work at home too. So where does meta verse fit in lol 😍😆

  3. Amazon mapping and monitoring people's houses now

  4. What about stairs

  5. You left out the part that anything connected to AMAZON is the opposite of secure, or private. They are literally recording you and monitoring you.

  6. It's all fun and games until you walk upstairs 😔🙄

  7. astro can detect your patner cheating

  8. I want a $10,000 robot to send a soda to my loved one down the hall…. How fukin lazy are we now.

  9. Can it get upstairs?

  10. Don't waste your money on this toys

  11. just get a dog

  12. When is Astro available in the uk

  13. Big Tech is evil

  14. Can it steam my Onlyfans? like a Cameraman?

  15. legit i break into a guy's house with astro, all i have to do is carry the robot and run off, its that simple

  16. I'll buy it when it can actually bring me a drink, or my meds or my shoes.
Until it opens the refrigerator grabs the milk, grabs a glass from the upper cabinets, pours the milk, puts back the milk and brings me the glass of milk, I'll wait.

  17. Ever since I saw the movie big bug on Netflix I can’t trust this lol

Like Facebook, where they made a way for us to share are info where we are willingly through disguising it as a "Social platform", this one is willingly let them to do surveillance on us.

  18. hewlp my irl name is Astro and why the bot named astro i feel like its calling me 😥

  19. That dog would HATE that robot

  20. It can’t go upstairs to shock ⚡️ my lazy children 👧 that’s what I need

  21. This damn thing will harass me about cleaning up

  22. My house 🏡 is to cluttered for this crap 💩. I need an Alexa to clean the damn toilet 🚽 and shower 🚿 and maybe shock ⚡️ my children 👧

  23. My privacy is fairly important to me. A cell phone is enough.

  24. Your phone roams too

  25. Big pass for me.

  26. Amazon Astro was definitely inspired from R2D2, there is nothing you can do to convince me otherwise. But R2D2 wasn’t an Amazon surveillance bot.

  27. Thumbs down

  28. Nice but not sure how secure in terms of privacy. Can Amazon log into these robots remotely? How Amazon going to guarantee privacy ?

  29. As a British person obsessed with cute, useful robots, and an Amazon addict lol, I would welcome the chance to road test one, but with invite only and no sniff at the British market, I will probably have to wait some time to buy one. I've always wanted a companion bot, as an INTJ, but one that is useful, smart and funny, like Johnny No5 from Short Circuit, and they are getting there slowly but surely. The problem is if you invest in one and the company falters like with Jibo, of course Amazon is highly unlikely to fold, or they stop developing or supporting it then you are left with a cute looking toy.

  30. I'd rather take the $1,000 and put it towards buying an ED-209 (from the movie Robocop) in the future when someone makes it for like US$1 Million. 😂😂😂

  31. GLOW-E

  32. Can it climb stairs?

  33. 1:51 look at the comments, her mouth becomes scary

  34. Uhhh it can go to any room in the house eh? How about any room separated by…stairs.

  35. The first thing I’m going to do is strap a 6 inch knife to that actuating camera thing.

  36. This isn't a review… it is an amazon sales pitch.

  37. Ah yes I need a Robot and a bunch of drones to guard my area xD

  38. I think this is a good step. Its a Alexa on wheels and a Security Guard. But for me to buy a robot it needs to do more. Like tell my Vacuum Robots to clean if Astro thinks the room is dirty. But I really want something to help me do more, like am extra pair of hands.

We need a cooking robot or a do the dishes robot

  39. Is it bulletproof or baseball bat proof?

  40. I need a ton of rich people to buy the first product so Amazon can keep investing so they can make it more affordable for me! 😅 And I can’t wait to see the second version! Astro 2.0 ☺️

  41. Ok, this might be cool but it isn’t using much new technology, it’s really just an rc car with a camera attached and a few distance sensors connected up to an ai engine focused likely on ad tracking.
