Not a normal poster. I was a house painter for years like 10 plus and am not what is called a coating / corrosion control specialist master work leader. Linus is the BOSS because he notices stuff that no normy would notice! All the things he noticed are LONG running pet peeves of mine! At least the painterin' stuff. thank you for being a discerning customer!!!!

used to deliver and install appliances and i understand the general contractors fear with the fridge. ive had to take fridges back for less. also i can confirm that old appliances are tanks and you should never replace them. speed queens are really good but not the best looking, if you ever want to replace yours.

Now this is 7 months ago but I kinda doubt Black 3.0 would be a good wall paint, as that very low reflectance is probably due to self shadowing of large/many microfacets, making the paint very, very matte by necessity. This also probably makes it easy to damage/scratch. Not as in scratch it off, but as in scuff up the surface.

Fridges come in 2 depths. Standard and counter depth. If you do not buy a counter depth fridge, it will stick out. The opening is not the wrong size, it is the fridge you went with.
I'm guessing you guys didn't actually end up going with the black 3.0 in the theater. Probably for the best, because I've been in a room like that, not only is it somewhat unsettling but you lose all depth perception, unless you have reference points then all the walls and corners of the room absolutely look like voids. Might be good for watching a movie in that room, but you're not going to want to just hang out in there.
