Yeah both would be nice. I have times where the iOS tool is perfect, but I have other times where the pixel tool would work better.
I like google’s magic eraser better.

iPhone doesn’t have to worry. Sending a cutout of a cat isn’t that impressive or evasive. Wish they would allow us to ad a cutout to another photo

Interesting click bait title considering IOS 16 has nothing to do with the pixel or google.
As an iPhone user Id really rather remove a person/object from a picture rather be able to copy and paste an object/person from an image.
You can just hold tap and press copy as well, instead of the two handed swipe between app thing?!

I noticed that at the beginning it was the new iOS16 trick but at the end it became Google magic eraser VS Apple tap & hold tools!
The magic eraser (on the pixels phones) is amazing.
But, it would be nice to have both tools on both Operating Systems.
It depends on the situation, I see both tools as being useful.

Great video! I have a pixel 6 and a iPhone 12 pro Max and I can tell you for certain that the magic eraser does not work that well. So I'll take the cut out from the iPhone when that's available.

People are and have been years far to fixated on photos. It’s superficial, shallow and absurd. A couple of pictures to recall a meaningful event are fine, but pics for the sake of manipulation are evil narcissism.

Apple live visual thing is a half of a feature to me because i don't think i will use it too much compared to the healing brush that i use frequently to retouch a selfie or some distractions in a photo in apps like photoshop and snapseed. I really think it would super pass google magic eraser if apple just made it possible this year.
I like both for different reasons
But since I've never had an iPhone
Looking forward to trying that new feature

Needs an dlss like upscaler like how in movies they magically turn pixelated images into crystal clear images.
Snapchat has been doing what that new apple feature does, just apple does it better and automatically, in snapchat you have to do it manually.

It would be handy to have both tools on the same phone. Perhaps there is a way to do both on each operating system using an app.

I’m an iOS user. If given the choice I would probably prefer Magic Eraser. Perhaps I will fall in love with the cut out tool when I get iOS16.
