Didn’t mention it’s hdr
Oled makes all the difference in the World glad they went with that.
If this isn't wireless in any way, I will not buy it.
No need worrying about a new VR headset that works with the PS5 when you still can't even get a PS5. I'll look for this in 2023 when maybe I'll be able to get a PS5.
I just hope it's backwards compatible with existing PSVR titles. I have 20+ VR titles. It would be nice to play them at the higher resolution the PS5/PSVR would provide.
Also i hope you can move around on the ps5 home screen and stuff like the quest 2
So is it expected to come out this year?
i feel like 700 but i got ps5 in september so i will prob get headset for my bday
Coming in Early 2023
Looks like I've come full circle- I had the PSVR, traded it for the Quest, gave up on Oculus/ Facebook (now meta), and I just finished building a PC. I'm in the exact same situation as when I got the PSVR. Do I upgrade the PC or go for a PSVR2? Time will tell.
I'd love a standalone headset that can play PS1, 2 and Vita games, in realistic virtual gaming rooms like Spatial and Immersed apps on the Quest.
I wonder how the psvr2 will handle backwards compatibility with games that use the DualShock such as Astro Bot?
wich is better oculus quest 2 or ps vr 2 cause I literally just got a oculus 2
Will the new headset be much friendlier to guys like me who wears glasses? I had a terrible experience with the PSVR as I can only see if I put the headset closest to my face but my eyelashes would smear the lens inside and then my eyes would water tremendously!
I don't think they'll make the price outlandish. Even the ps5 actually doesn't make them that much money, it's the games where they earn their profits. That's why they showcased Horizon as the primary VR title, because they need a game for the masses to want to play more than to sell them on the idea of VR
Everyone knows about VR. Everyone knows it's expensive, but everyone also knows that most of the games available on VR are either JUST on VR without a connected universe, or are a VR extension of something else. Using blockbuster titles like Horizon (and I'm pretty sure Spiderman in the near future because literally no other game makes as much sense as a Spiderman VR) will bring HORDES of new fans looking to buy this.
Supply chain issues will be a whole other thing though. I really hope Sony sells the PSVR directly through Sony Direct and only to people who already have the PS5 (you can link the account or something) or at least sells a majority of pieces directly to control the scalping situation
2kx2k per eye = 2k lmao
We're experiencing poor video coverage. Please buy more 4G LTE data plans for faster internet speed.
And don’t forget Sony supposedly sold the original headset at a loss.
5:50 I already have a ps5, but if I get a PSVR2 and play FNaF SB and FNaF HW on it, I feel like it’ll almost be as if I’m literally the night guard. I really love that.
I'll get back into VR when they stop doing those stupid floating hands and give a full body/ full immersion experience.
Anyone who is fine with floating hands is keeping us from getting there.
Is it going to be backwards Combatable
The use of USB-C could mean that they can powered by their smart phone? well it could be phone + battery combo. lol
I would LOVE ghost of Tsushima vr!
