Awesome Tips Turtle Beach VelocityOne Flight makes jumping into the cockpit a breeze

The company’s first flight yoke controller doesn’t stick the landing and is on the pricey side, but it’s still a ton of fun to use. Xbox users will be happy to know they finally have a proper yoke solution that works straight out of the box.

Hey guys, Chase here! I see some questions about the head tracking– I am using the Tobii Eye Tracker 5 to translate my head movements into the game. Reply to this comment with any other questions you have, whether about the VelocityOne Flight or flight sim peripherals in general!
Thanks for watching, I hope you enjoyed the video.

  1. If you don't have the rudder system then which buttons are used for that?

  2. I am buying two of the flight controllers this way I can learn twice as fast.

  3. anyone tried this with the new M1/2 macs?

  4. my Dreams…good rev

  5. Thanks for the info. The slop in the yoke was enough for me to decide against getting one.

  6. Dont worry mate, I noticed your Star Citizen shirt 😉 Good style Cap'n.

  7. At 0:36 you're pulling and turning the yoke and the plane doesn't respond at all. I was expecting a small delay but it didn't respond at all. What's up with that?

  8. Royalty Vibes for pilot skills on x box series S

  9. What are you using to make the camera move while you turn your head?

  10. so can this work with racing games also?

  11. 5:07 AMONG US SUSSY

  12. It doesn't seem very responsive.

  13. Why is it branded with Xbox when Xbox does not have a flight simulator

  14. Maybe spray a bit of silicon on the column?

  15. Ok so… you telling me I can't slam the yoke from side to side without the center position detent clicking loudly? Hmm…well then how will possibly get from LA to Tokyo safely and on time?? Ok fine, fine–it'll do. But only as long as I can still use VelocityOne FLIGHT to aerobat a fully loaded 737-800 MAX under the Golden Gate Bridge! Perhaps, however though, not as well as our trusted CNET reviewer managed in this video.

  16. Flying through all them TFRs lol

  17. can someone that uses this in PC share the working mapping file… C:Users(name)AppData…. inputprofile_(xxxx…numbers) is a xml file… thanks in advance

  18. Hi sorry how you make the video on the screen to move when you move your head? Thanks

  19. I wonder how bad the "lag" is between controller and the plane actually following the pitch/bank. Seems to be a bit?

  20. 9:03 Wait a minute

  21. You keep saying buon, what's a buon?

  22. I have my own simple answer for Xbox is kinda Irresponsive but it does the job

  23. Honestly the V1 is under priced for its features

  24. Is there a cheaper version?

I was like how in the world is he controlling the camera with his head? I need to ask…oh.. Thanks for answering! That eye tracker is sweet! Wish they had that for xbox

  25. $380 + $500 (XBOX)and you can create a high quality home simulator which is great for avgeeks

  26. This yoke sucks lol, it sticks when making small movements to pitch. Sent mine back within 2 weeks and got the honeycomb.

  27. The chrono-meter? Really?

    looks like plastic crap.

  28. The throttles are loosey goosey, no good, get a honeycomb 😁 only 100$ more and its comes with a ton more, including the actual levers you flip for reverse thrusters, and yes they work like the real thing, flip em up and push the throttle forward for reverse thrust.

  29. Gotta have one!!

  30. I have a new Velocity One and Logitech Rudder Peddles Now all I want to do is Practice Instrument approaches down to Mins no Scenery required other than the Lights & Runway Threshold. What is better MSFS 2020 or X Plane. Can easily afford both.

  31. How do you get head tracking??

  32. My wallet is still safe thanks to having had the opportunity to try out this yoke that a friend bought.
Without going into a lot of details, I was initially overjoyed that someone bothered to include a Cessna style throttle quadrant and I couldn't wait to get my hands on it. As it turned out though, the yoke feels more toy-like than life-like, so I'm not going to waste almost 400 bucks.

  33. Do you still need the Xbox console or you connect the velocity one flight directly to the TV??

  34. Does this controller have a way to launch the tool bar ?

  35. Is it as good as the Honeycomb Alpha Yoke and Bravo throttle quadrant. It's cheaper the the Honeycomb.

  36. I see you’re a fan of Attack Peter, always nice to meet a fellow man of culture.

  37. it sucks so bad

  38. I played flight simulator and I barely move the yolk and my plane moves alot. I got used to it. Thought that's how planes are. But then I see you going way way past 30 degrees and I freaked.

  39. Mine is going back. My right hand buttons crapped out, no right hand brake and no right rudder, had it fixed, not long had it back same issue, it's crap, so going to demand a refund, not want this crap.

  40. how many monitors can i have if doing the simulator on xbox?

  41. Using the prop control on a 152 was kinda funny 😉

  42. Like this ! great review – I think the AP features of the ALPHA and the TM Boeing are better options. My inventory seems to be growing !
I couldnt help but notice the detail of the SF Bay Area on your SIM (MSFS ? ) did you add any terrain features ? I am an SF Native and have had trouble getting a satisfying realism for SF. I did use ORBX for XPLANE which was an improvement. NOt sure about MSFS.
    Thanks –

  43. Can I use it with P3DV4 sim

  44. A Chase is always right!
