Hello all I'm looking to get my first Samsung watch and I am very undecided on which one to get. I know the Galaxy Watch 3 just came out not too long ago and it looks promising but I have heard a lot of mixed reviews. Would anyone recommend me getting it or going to another watch?
I love my watch, I bought a silicone band for work so my leather band doesn't get wet. 🙃 🤣 that fall was hilarious 🙈😅 my period tracker was on point 🤦🏽♀️

I had the gear fit, frontier, Galaxy watch and now Galaxy watch 3, I have loved all of them! I’m not much of a fan on the sticky outy buttons, I prefer the flush pads more, but I can live with it, was super excited about he ecg as I have a heart condition that this will massively help me monitor, but I am so disappointed that it still hasn’t arrived yet! I’ve never had any issues wearing the watch during the day but I do not understand how anyone can wear them while they sleep!?

Should I buy it for my lovely girlfriend for Christmas?
I have my galaxy watch 3 connected remotely to my phone with it's on mobile plan and Im lucky if I can get it to last 10hrs, it definitely doesn't last the 1d17h4mins of battery life is says it has remaining but that's probably due to the fact I have just about every notification on with sleep tracker on too. Other than that the Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 is perfect if you don't always have your phone on you during work or if you're always forgetting your phone at home on in the car etc… You can still receive/make calls/messages or check notifications.
Am I the only person that doesn't mind charging phone/watches while I 🚿????😂😂😂

CNET hates Samsung because its an Asian company its almost hilarious that you went to great lengths to criticise battery here without mentioning the atrocious applewatch power performance in comparison
If you're interested in fitness, stick to a fitbit or Garmin. Just like the apple watch, it does fitness on the side.

all of the features wont work unless you have a galaxy phone! this sucks about as bad as apple watch. No one mentions this detail.
Buyer beware ECG only works on Samsung phones lawsuit against Samsung should be coming soon for false advertising for customers who purchased Watch 3 not knowing this prior to purchase.
My Galaxy Watch 2 had water ingress from regular freestyle swimming for 20 minutes per session. Samsung refuse to admit their watch is not really 5 ATM water resistant and is charging me the price of a brand new watch to repair it. I'm posting this everywhere to warn potential buyers. Apologies for spamming.

I have a watch3 and I read that the way fall detection works is that after a fall is detected the watch monitors any movements for 1 minute, if no movement is detected it then it proceeds to text/call you emergency contacts. I wonder if she knows this and if she waited that minute.

What does she mean by Samsung doesn't have the best track record? Unless she's talking about their watches only. Their phones, tvs, and tablets have been outstanding for years. I have worked in the electronic and phone industry for many years. I have had 2 Fitbit Charge 3's give out on me in 1 year so I will never buy Fitbit again. I love my Samsung products.
Totally a piece of junk. The battery barely lasted a year. Don't waste your money. Never buy another Samsung Watch. Don't get me started on the refrigerators!
