Do people really want this crap? $1000 (introductory price) for a robot that doesn't really do anything special at all. The heart rate watch was priced correctly for its application but everything else was just gadgets for bored yuppies with tons of cash to waste.

the designer surely is a guy… he could add the base with a vacumm so at least he got things to do when we all go work.
As for the flying security camera. How about an out of the reach platform with ac power that the camera launched from. Then it fly's around the outside of the home. It has motion detectors that activates it to fly to that area and record video and sound. It would have to be an all-weather system. Someone prowling around or an animal, is Litten up and recorded.

More than innovative tech devices, these are the gateways to gather as much data possible from every customer, which by the way they are doing, but with these devices will take it to a whole another level. So that they can relentlessly stuff their customers mouths with items , not because they need or want, but because Amazon says so!.
