Intel’s 13th gen, Raptor lake, is finally here! The timing couldn’t be worse with AMD’s processors launching just yesterday, but the 13900K is nothing to sneeze at and if the price is right and the graphs don’t lie, then AMD might have to reconsider the 7950X at $699.

Intel got back to us!
"For CPU launch claims, Intel generally tests within parameters specified by the manufacturer. We conducted the performance testing on the AMD parts within specification based on AMD's public guidance regarding max memory speeds.
In regards to the 1% lows – the 5800X3D not shown in the 1% lows/99th percentile gap to keep the message simplified. Our goal was to introduce a new way of measuring gaming experience beyond average FPS and focus on explaining this parameter and its importance to gamers. When we add additional SKUs to the slide, it would make the story more complicated to explain, which is why we didn’t include the ADL-S 12900K as well."
It's nice that you are hinting at the non-K chips Linus. This is what we want a new video about. Can you test the 13500, 13400 and 13100 and give us some results?
That biceps 💪
Watching all these newer releases makes me feel I need to upgrade constantly. I have an i7-8700, RTX 2060 Super, 16gb Vengeance 2666Mhz but its running everything just fine….
What am i missing out on?
can believe I'm watching Intel release CPUs with 5.8 GHz clockspeed while using a laptop with a clockspeed of only 2.5
I’m still running a Amd 8350 with a 1070 hour, how bad is that, what do I gain by upgrading to a 13600k?
Z690 with 12700k or z790 with 13600k?same money
why aren't they testing it on VALORANT!!!
Ah upgrading is not worth it mostly if you use the hardware at daily bases each 2 years new complete system is cheaper
Still using a 3930k.

it looks like AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D has put Intel to shame in the gaming sector
So you were wrong
amd trheadripper be like amateur
so many choices so little money
LTT is definitely getting paid by Nvidia.
Saying that Nvidia's prices aren't bad.
And now taking a dump on Intel.
im using alot of programs at the same time at work, unity, substance painter, maya, zbrush, slack, plastic, brave with 10 or so tabs, sometimes i also use photoshop and 3D coat. sounds great that the 13th gen will improve on mega tasking
This video has so much potential. It was just seconds away from being 13:37 long.
So uhh what happened to testing Hybrid technology in the review?
Intel smashed AMD this gen. Not on speed, sure its slightly faster but its the price, you have to be a blind fanboy to spend the extra $150+ for an AMD badge.
I felt attacked when he mentioned the older chips and went to the 6700k… I’m rocking that 4690 with DDR3 ram and can’t keep my ram. Although with current prices. $100 for 3600mhz 32Gb DDR4 isn’t much. Or $60 for 16gb
