CORRECTION: We're working on updating the video, but in the meantime, our numbers for Cyberpunk 2077 were with FidelityFX Upscaling enabled. We specifically didn't have this enabled, but stability issues with the bench seems to have messed with the settings. We've re-run all of the numbers for each card:

– RTX 3090 Ti: 43, 46, 56
– RTX 3090: 35, 43, 50
– RX 6950 XT: 30, 39, 46

I'm using a 5700xt processing for hours at a time.
I think one of these would actually save energy by getting the same amount of work done faster, and also help me get done before the rates go higher at 4PM.
The explanation for the CS:GO is that the game is CPU bound, so the 4090 lowers the clocks due to the low GPU utilization. The 3090 is less efficient and keeps the clocks higher due to slighly higher GPU utilization.

I regret buying this thing because it's not so different in performance than my RTX 3090. It's true it's more powerful when you use a software that can compare both of them and it shows 4090 is more powerful in every way. But when I see with my naked eyes when running something I don't see that much difference. I should have waited at least 5 years to change another GPU. Man… I wanna punch myself for not being able to control my spending and wasting a lot of money I saved. I hope I won't waste my money buying 5000 series.
It's a 2,300 dollar card for starters. It's price is what most of are hole computers usually lol. What CPU were you guys using with the 4090 when testing ? Also how much RAM. I asked because as far as game when they come and state that you need 16 GB I upgraded the 32 GB plan to watch dogs 2 and a lot of my stuttering and stuff went away and then I'm like you know what let's go 64 GB out of 128GB lol. I was looking to build another computer within about 2 or 3 months either early spring or early summer this year but again the 4090s are expensive right now I don't know and I haven't looked at these are normal prices or if it still has something to do with inflation but the Intel CPUs for 12th generation i9s 800 900 bucks but that's a build that would last 5 years without any issues in terms of games. But if this is still an issue now I think I might want to hold off for a while. FH5 maxed out at 4K on all settings and only getting 130 you think it blow it out from the water is the 3090 could do 8K 60.

Its funny to know that one day this gpu will be old tech and sitting on ebay for 300 bucks. Also this gpu is huge… I wouldnt dare put this thing in horizontally without a GPU support brace

Cyberpunk 2077 is probably the absolute worst optimized PC game in history.

Again – no vr testing.. why would anyone buy 1600 dollar card with performance that nobody needs, if not for vr, that can use all the gpu power you throw at it for supersampling?
