  2. I just bought an 8k tv.

    You missed the mark again on this one just like when you said "4k gaming is dumb".

    I don't 8k for fps purposes, its for strategy and simulation games, like warhammer, rimworld, and dwarf fortress, where you can see more of the world with higher resolutions. And anything above 30 fps is just fine.

    The kiddie fps games have no benefits at 8k in terms of clarity. You don't actually see more on your screen. But that's how you're testing–only with ADHD kiddie fps game demographics.

    For those of us who play games not exclusively in the domain of middle aged children, 4k and 8k are incredible.

  9. I do play 6 k uhr DSR on 2x 4k at 120 Hz , which bringts the displayport to the edge, but works flawless in 170 FOV and its great to play callisto like that in Vr. Sadly oc does not make much sense on this model, still a good card, for VR users

  20. CS GO doesn't look any better at 8k than 1080p because it doesn't have any higher res textures than that.

  22. FYI higher resolution helps mostly with RENDER quality NOT texture quality. When you go up resolution you'll get better edges between objects, terrain etc etc. Along with better clarity of lighting and other RENDERED effects.

    Textures close up will always only be as good as the resolution provided in the texture settings.

  26. ok but this monitor in the end MSI Optix MPG321UR-QD has DP 1.4 and hdmi 2.0 ports only making it capable of 4k@120 hz and 4k@60 hz respectively so i dont see why the advertise 144hz at 4k lmao
