  1. It's about time someone else added an inclination sensor like this Bulls Iconic Evo has.
Stromer ST2S uses a gyroscope for alarm and inclination sensing. This is important because while everyone else is tooting their horn for torque, cadence, and speed sensing determining motor output, that is not relevant; you do not want the same output going up hill, down hill, or on the flats. Adding inclination sensing makes for a more responsive, and longer range, ride. Stromer has had this for at least 6 years…I bought my ST2S in January 2017, meaning it was made in 2016.
And, I love my 2018 Bulls LaCuba EVO Lite Wave with 250w Brose center-drive, Gates Carbon Belt, and Shimano 8-speed IGH. Zero problems or maintenance.
These are car replacements folks…you don't use a $499~$1000 E-bike to replace your car.

  2. I had no idea about some of these options, glad I watched and learned. Great video.

  3. The Superstrata bike, the second one, has been panned by its backers on Indiegogo. The bike is garbage, heavy, overpriced, and way worse than promised

I don't know where you got your prices from but you're wrong. For example, you said Urtopia prices started at $2,200. Their website however shows the price of Utopia Carbon One at €3.299,00 which is over $3,000!

  4. Get the aventon level 2 its got all you need and you can get it at your local bestbuy

  5. These are priced too high for any average rider. The technology makes it extremely difficult to repair and costly. Nice, but you can get so much more for your dollar, just keeping it simple.

  6. Typical…€3200 for the urban…

  7. I bought a RAD Mission for $499 and commute 70 miles/week….ROI happened very quickly.

this is the worst ebike list ive seen this year

  8. Don’t leave those bike outside they will be gone in minutes 😢

  9. CNET people kindly review cheaper bikes, not only 2000-5000 dollar e bikes 😵‍💫

  10. Mensen trap er niet in allemaal verkoop trucjes het is gewoon rommel koop gewoon een betrouwbare Gazelle of Batavus zijn gewoon oplichters en dat vind ik

  11. Good info…Great Review!

  12. Been with CNET for as long as I can remember, before YouTube I believe and was always such trust worthy source of information. Thanks

  13. My brotha.
Please fix your collar and iron your shirt 😮‍💨

  14. ayo! lets go joseph kaminski back on video?? lets go!

  15. No $10k+ option? What gives?

  16. fancy bikes with tiny motors… form over function

  17. Great if going door to door with a safe lockup in-between, however if you are chaining this outside in a major town or city it will be stolen immediately.

  18. Great review and they look like great bikes but none of these are carried by a local bike shop. I like my Trek and it’s support from the dealer I bought it from.

  19. What about the Vanmoof?

  20. Bike #1 250 watt motor = if you are not already fit, traveling very short distances or live in an area with very flat terrain, this bike is far too underpowered. A 250 watt motor is not made for most adults, middle aged people or if there is the slightest amount of head wind.
Bike #2. Again 250 watt motor far to little power. Anyone can get some vinyl or paint and provide the 'look' this bike does. The custom fit, that is just a gimmick. Watching the bike being printed, again just another gimmick. Far too overpriced for the return.
Bike #3. $6600? So a bike for the wealthy. Thanks for sharing! There are plenty of more choices for the wealthy. Rickshaws come to mind.
These are just my opinions, what are yours?

  21. you need a seat tube to prevent all the road junk from landing on your legs

  22. Love CNET ❤️

These bikes are fine for those with high enough income. How about reviewing ebikes for the 99% that can't drop $2,000 to $5,000.
