Deals for Days. Big home savings are happening now.
Why even make all these VR stuff. We all need to go outside more. I don’t care how good VR gets. Going on an actual trip somewhere is always better.
Part of the world starving. Part of the world doing this…
LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOO 💪😤💪
Apple, Samsung, meta and google where there, taking notes…
It would be cool if the glasses adapt for a person prescription.
Pimax Crystal and Portal are awesome! Great products!
I will 'feel' my bank account disintegrate with this tech coming in 2023
2 years later, it's still weird to see anyone wear a mask.
Anything that creates more immersion, maybe some gloves that are not as expensive as a sports car.
I really love Scott's coverage of VR and the metaverse, so I was looking forward to a video like this coming out after CES, and it did not disappoint. Unfortunately I didn't see much that really resonated with me.
We're seeing a lot of exploration of different headsets, but what we're missing is consumer-level real-time volumetric video capture technology. I want to record VR video content in real time, and I think that's going to be key to the metaverse ACTUALLY taking off with the public. Let me put up 3-5 cameras around a room and record a family gathering.
I wish people would stop equating VR with the Metaverse. The Metaverse is a dead-end isolated tourist-trap cul-de-sac off the VR Interstate that anyone who spends a lot of time driving on avoids. The true innovation in VR comes in isolated individual experiences, not in socially-connected virtual congregation. The Metaverse is a failed pipe dream that merely touts a service no one asked for. VR is more about simulation and gaming, not about meeting people or the virtual career brainstorming sessions Zuck thinks are the future of corporate innovative growth. Those of us already finding a comfortable niche within the VR community cringe at the Metaverse and hope for its hasty demise.

This is steam engine level tech. 50 years from now there will be full immersion by jacking in.
the guy cosplay chyna virus 😂
why are you using term metaverse for things that have nothing to do with meta
I'm Glad i don't use glasses.
This stuff is so dumb
Meteverse; what is it? Cancer.
Why are these morons still wearing masks?
You mean that metaverse that doesn’t exist yet? 😅
Cool.
I think cellphone based vr would be the best path forward. The problem with the gear vr and day dream was first that it was 3dof 2nd the inability to still use your phone while in vr, but if vr was thought about at the system level…maybe a foldable phone for wider fov in vr, and good software could do the trick
Do you have to wear a mask while in the meta verse
Still VR/AR 1.2, nothing new.
Finally, incells will know approximately what it’s like to experience “love” 😅
Why are those controllers just joy cons?
Thanks
Absolutely stupidity – until it’s implants
Headsets seems so 1970s old technology
MASKED FOOL IS HE ILL OR JUST CRAPPING HIMSELF
