Project tango also has depth sensors. I guess it was a little ahead of its time

  2. That snapdragon xr2 SUCKS. It is back to the Quest 2 era. LOL We all know that all those Quest 2 childish games suck.

  3. As a VR developer using the Quest 2 I considered prescription inserts, but having to take my glasses on and off every time I iterate on my game seemed like too big of a hassle. Being able to wear glasses inside the Quest 2 is really nice in my opinion. And I've tested it with contact lenses and tightening it as much as possible to my face VS having it basically as far away from my face as possible while wearing glasses and the difference in field of view is very small.

Even though I would probably have longer play sessions without glasses if I could, it would be nice to have the option of wearing glasses in all VR headsets for those that require or prefer it, and I imagine all it requires from headset manufacturers is just to allow for a little bit more adjustability, adjustability that maybe needs to be there regardless to accompany all types of faces? Even selling some type of facial interface adapters as extra would be fine by me.

  4. Why don't we have AR worms yet? I want to blow up bits of my couch, or lob grenades at my wriggly foes on top of a sleeping grandparent!

  5. With eye and face tracking (and also HTC's previous proven track record for doing those really well) and the extreme light weight, I think this is going to be really popular for the PC social VR crowd. The weight reduction is going to be super great for long-term comfort, especially with big head movements when dancing. The removable back-strap is also a really great feature for this, reducing the weight even more, and allowing people to DIY or get 3rd party head straps designed to give the most stability and comfort. Really keeping a close eye on this one

  6. another issue with relying on diopter is there's a lot of us with astigmatism and the diopter won't correct for our cylindrical abberation, so we'll still need inserts

  7. Why doesn't he just wear contacts or get lasik?

  8. Buy some less hipster glasses fffs.

  9. It's too expensive! Double the price of the original vive that I still use!

  10. 1500 € ….????🤣🤣🤣👍

  11. 12 BG of RAM 😂

  12. Would be nice to then switch to someone who's not legally blind for the clarity review.

  13. why didnt they add knuckle like controllers. valve index revolutionized vr controllers so players can properly pick up or do virtually any hand gestures

  14. who wear prescription glasses nowadays? It's so 2022

  15. Kept watching as I was under the impression I was gone see several tests. In end nothing except a wait for full review. Very baity.

  16. Mixed reality is what the gids of ancient egypt where devolping through psychdelics

  18. Looks cool but more than double the price of the quest 2? That's more then the Pimax 4k that has top specs

  19. VR is getting better! Be interesting to see what Apple announces this spring.
