  1. Bruh how tf are people damaging their monitors with isopropyl

  2. I've had the same monitor for years and actively use alcohol and paper towels. I have seen no degradation in the screen clarity whatsoever. I haven't noticed a problem so I don't see why you haft to find one and make me feel wrong for no reason. Alcohol also brakes down organic material and disinfects it. Water does the opposite, and promotes spore growth, not only that, if you work with art like myself, getting ink off any screen is impossible without alcohol. I almost feel insulted by how stupid they think we are. Never base your beliefs on "could" You'll live in a permanent world of paranoia. Only worry about the "Will happen."
Edit: I learned they are Canadian so now I feel bad for them.

Used alcohol, didn't turn it of and still like new. Well I didn't used normal alcohol it's some nature based thing wich is common in one of my nearby stores

  3. I’ve been using Pledge and a Microfiber cloth for years, it hasn’t failed on me so far. And it’s what my dad has been doing too.

  4. the circular thing is up to you. just like straight strokes are now being told by car cleaning folk. shit changes and people have their beliefs.

  5. I dont know, my glasses solution works great

  6. Nah im good with spit !!

  7. Haven't wipe my screen for 4 years

  8. "damage your screen" and showing an A1502/A1398 MacBook is fake news. It was a manufacturing defect and had nothing to do with alcohol. Get better.

  9. Good luck finding distilled water been a shortage here for a while stores cant keep it on their shelves.

  10. Me who never cleans my monitor:

  11. Circular motion!? No

  12. Is filtered water ok?

  13. Guys please don't use spring water and also dont go in a circular motion. up down or left right only…

  14. FYI this doesn't work for Oled tv. Use wet cloth only..never dry.

  15. You clean your monitors?

  16. What you dont spray your monitor with fabuloso

  17. BRO RIGHT AFTER I JUST CLEANED IT WITH RUBBING AOCOHAL.

  18. I use Windex

  19. Bro I haven't cleaned my pc for 4 years

  20. I usually use wet non alcohol face tissue, then dry it with micro fibre cloth, clean and smell good

  21. How bout you mind your business

  22. ok lesson learned, never touch your monitors with your fat oily fingers

  23. 20+ it guy; I do a mix 2/1 of 75% alcohol and distilled water with a few drops of dish soap for that extra kick to get rid of dried food from user screens. If you need to scrape, use a soft plastic edge like membership card. I also use a mix of a few drops of dish soap and vinegar to get rid of stains or smells on the laptop cases and other peripherals. Wash laptop bags using vinegar only for a soft and fresh smelling bag; same for the rags as detergents leave residue that gets smudged when cleaning screens

    Can I use lens cleaner?

  24. Instructions unclear, I am now god and everyone is me and I am everyone and my very existence is a quantum superposition between contentment with the godly duties I've completed and contempt for the idealized version of the God I could be, a better and more powerful God who no one dares question

  25. Ive been using vinegar and lemon

  26. If it's really dirty I will mix a couple caps of white vinegar with luke warm distilled water and use a microfiber cloth…It's the best I've found so far…

  27. You know the theory that your device is listening to you 24/7? I was only THINKING HOW I CLEAN MY MONITOR, I NEVER SAID IT OUT LOUD

  28. Or, use Windex's formulated screen cleaning wipes.

  29. I warned my friend against using cleaning alcohol on his brand new mac once… he regreted not listening to me.

  30. This is why we need more glass monitors.

  31. Dang bruh, I've been usin bleach. 🤣

    Jk

  32. Ok but why circular? For literally everything from cars to mirrors they say not to go in circles so you don’t rub in debris and or cause streaks
