As someone who has owned an acer swift x for 4 months now. I can say the battery life is as good as they say it is i have done a full workday without plugging in once!!. The only thing that people should be aware of is the vram. It's only 4gb. That's not a problem for me because I'm not a hard-core gamer but just keep that in mind if you do a lot triple A gaming.

Basically an advertisement for Acer. Macbook airs are the same price and far superior.
That 14" is garbage and overpriced at $1200. Too big and too heavy for that price.
I only buy Acer laptops.
It would be valuable if you could compare swift 14 with g14 though. OLED is sure nice but other than it didn't feel as good/powerful as g14s.
Asus vivobook pro 15x and 16x came out a year ago with high-resolution OLED screens. 2.8k and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz 12gen cpus and rtx3050 or 3050 ti at very low price

An AMD 6000 series laptop yet to be found on Market. They released it last year but still haven’t found anything priced at reasonable price.
Had so extremely bad experiences repairing Acer laptops that I'm never ever recomending one to anybody. Crumbling plastics, laptop cases falling apart, brass inserts letting go from the case and all the shit this brings.
Nope. Never ever.
My issue with laptops is it seems like it's designed to be tossed after x years. I've owned many and they served their purpose but it's always been a compromise situation since you can't have it all on a laptop.
Acer has always impressed me my first system acer m1201 amd based honestly only retail board that had decent bios and was upgradeable to phenom ii etc etc

2:30 – That's great and all, but the deal-breaker for me is the lack of a numberpad.
If I'm buying a laptop that I need to use anywhere away from a desk, I'm going AMD. That swift X 14 looks cool, but for that price, they should offer a config that can last a work day away from the wall socket. The fact that all these companies are offering only Intel, makes me think they are up to their anticompetitive shenanigans again. Raptor lake isn't the better architecture for power or cooling… So it doesn't make sense.
