The reality is the HP Omen 25L,30L And 45L Are all very very good PC's. HP are just idiots for locking up there Motherboards… But if your not into Overclocking and what not, You should be good to go..

how the hell were HP able to patent sticking a radiator outside the case???? people have been doin that for years, there are / was many cases on the market with holes and grommets out the back to pass tubes through for exactly this purpose. "oh we stuck our radiator to a mount" is not ground braking. who's ass did they F*** to get that patent.
The standalone case for the 45L Omen has officially been launched! As Linus showed interest for it I think maybe it could be redeemed with a new episode!
Great Video and I love that you always look "behind" the cover! Maybe one add: if you buy the Ryzen version you can use the Ryzon Master to change the Memory speed. With Intel you are absolutely right: no way to change it easily

I am hoping one of you pros can help me. I have an Omen 45 and when it sleeps occassionally a fan or something kicks on every few minutes. Its really annoying but i dont know how to stop it.

I wasn’t recommended this video before I bought the omen. I hope they’ve fixed these issue in the last 10 months…
The biggest flaw is the small power supply , 800 watts

So everyone reading here regardin performance issues: I got an firmware update days ago, since then i got a new option in Omen Gaming-Hub, which says: "Extreme". You need activate it via BIOS and accept, that you will no longer have warranty. @LinusTechTips, can you test this thing in "Extreme"-Mode again please?
Thus bores me because you are testing a 10,000$ PC. Get a close to basic next time

I have an omen 30L with a 5800x and 3080. The lack of any overclocking in the motherboard is a huge PITA and the 3080 doesn't allow for voltage adjustment within afterburner, so I couldn't even get it to hold a 50 megahertz overclock.
My friend says these are so fast they can hack bitcoin.
But can it keep down town Boston from lagging? 🤨
