  1. Buy a Samsung Galaxy A53 5G: https://lmg.gg/doZys
    Buy a Google Pixel 6a: https://geni.us/pIhO

  2. I had no idea this phone was this popular.. I just got it last week after pushing my old phone to it's limit for 4 years and the difference is amazing. I was afraid before I would have to switch to Apple for something decent, glad to be wrong there.

  3. What I want is a camera and processor update to my Samsung M51 which has been with me since 2020.

    Dex?

  4. a53 is costlier than iPhone 11

  5. I decided to go for the A32 last year which is even cheaper than this one and almost identical in every way, at least as far as user experience and reliability go. It's under 300 bucks CAD and it'll serve you just as well as any of Apple's $1500 flagship phones, without having to deal with Apple's bullshit.

  6. If you wan't something "american", Motorola Edge 30 is a good alternative.

  7. The best phones to buy are older flagships
Depending on how old u go the battery might be bad but for do.e ppl the speed is worth the battery

  8. Note 9 is still a solid choice.

  9. Bro, this Samsung have 110 PWM 🥲

  10. A someone who's still got a Note 9, is very happy with it, but can't get new batteries for it other than old and already tired 2019 batteries. This review arrived just in time to spark my intrest 🙂

  11. I had an A42 that was great. Only issue for me was that there were too many apps not supported. Even the HBO Max app and Disney + apps didn't work on the phone.

  12. I paid $230usd for a Poco F3 256gb+8gb and it is absolutely amazing. Yes, the camera lets it down a little but honestly it's amazing. It never gets the recognition it deserves I think.

  13. James!! That hair!

  14. the battery is a big selling point, but I need the headphone jack, so I'm still rocking the s9+. I do run it in light power saver mode, and my reasoning is in 2 years when it starts to feel sluggish, I can unlock that and feel like a new device again… that needs to be charged 3 times a day. storage is an issue though, lots of apps can't be moved to the micro card these days. just developers just assume you have lots of storage

Usually I never comment about a sponsor spot but I'd recommend Linus to verify the claims of Any Desk once. Their software is anything but fast and smooth. On the contrary all remote sessions work at 5FPS max. Latency is like 5 Seconds minimum (yes seconds not milliseconds). And I know it's not my hardware cuz parsec runs just fine at 60FPS with like 10ms latency or something. Soo yeah it would be nice if y'all check their claims next time 🙂

  15. You misspelled macro when listing cameras.

  16. Xiaomi thought

  17. i own an a52 5g for more than a year and a half now. it has a snapdragon processor, and a jack connector up top, everything else is the same, it came with a 15 watt charger and a cable, no earphones tho. i love every part of it, and it being a snapdragon, it almost always seems snappy, but I don't play that many games. battery life is okay, i need to plug it in at the end of the day, but average usage, it's fine throughout. When I am bored at school, and use it for 6-7 hours nonstop, using tiktok, watching videos and playing games, it drowns quickly, but still… hands down the best price/performance phone I ever owned to this day.

Keep this trend up Samsung <3

  18. What a terrible ad…Seriously get back to selling screwdrivers

  19. I choose A52s than A53 back then because it's much better in specs and it got Snapdragon SoC (I need it for GCam). But now when A53 is in discount, it seems A53 is more compeling.

  20. A thing which everyone can agree on:
There was room for Jack on the wood piece in Titanic

  21. the pixel 6a is 320 bucks making this samsung a complete waste of money imo

  22. was helping a family member last week who needed a new phone. it literally came down to pixel 6a, a52s or a53 cuz everything else was too expensive.
he chose the a53 but was sad that it wasnt like the 52s and only chose the 53 cuz it was newer. so far he s happy with it.

i got the a52s through my contract and am using it as a spare/media machine at home.
God bless the headphone hack, cuz i only own one pair of true wireless earbuds (its my only pair of bt headphones) and it was annoying to put them back in their original place (jacket) every time after using them, cuz otherwise i d be without music when im out. so i got some decent iems and use those with the a52s, more convenient then bt headphones for me
every phone should have a hp jack imo.

tldr: a53 seems nice, personal preference goes to the 52s cuz of the 3.5mm jack, would wait for the 7a cuz 60hz is a dissappointment imo.

  23. But the A52 is the same phone for half the price, with the jack and power brick

  24. I need more convincing. Will you?

  25. The A series is good, but I think mid-range phones have questionable value – you can pick up a refurbished last-gen flagship for around the same price. It can be a bit hit-or-miss with the battery health though.

  26. Sooo we're not going to talk about the iphone?

  27. How does this compare to the S9? I still use mine and it's fine but I want to upgrade to something not expensive. The S9 was the last flagship I purchased after dropping the yearly upgrade and I've saved thousands. I just now would prefer to go mid range but it needs to be better obvs.

    Rocking a52 here

  28. Bad phone, I had Samsung phones battery died in 2 years never again

  29. Welp, you forgot to mention that google gives 3 years of updates and 2 of security while samsung gives you 4 years of updates and 1 of security

  30. I bought the Nothing Phone instead of this mainly because of the wireless charging

  31. welcome to India

  32. Nice "marco camera"!

  33. Sounds like a great phone only one problem no earphone jack it belongs in the trash

  34. S10e remains the best phone imo.

  35. 1 sol

  36. Hard to recommend the A53 when the A52s is better in both performance and camera. Plus if you care about cameras, the Nothing phone 1 gives the best results, otherwise, if you care about performance, the Poco F3/F4 with the Snapdragon 870 has double the performance at the same price.

  37. TBH A52s is the better value
Same display, same cameras, has headphone jack, is cheaper and better performance but 500mah smaller battery (tho doesn't affect that much overall apart from long term gaming)
Which is why my friend chose A52s instead of A53 (but I did suggest him M52 that's exactly the same device at even cheaper cost but cheaper build quality and no headphone jack)

  38. Not the best you can get in the same price range, only thing good about it is it famous, I think A23 still sold must more than A53, If you want value for money, I probably go for a Poco phone, Poco phone have must better hardware even though the software is not as good. If really want to buy Samsung, people probably buy it for it software instead of its hardware. I admit software from Xiaomi, vivo, oppo still a bit lacking

  39. What this review is missing is the mention of these phones coming from the low grade chip bins and getting bricked after a year of normal use, it might be just anecdotal evidence but I have had a personal experience with that and two indirect experiences and I see it online all the time, to the point where it's a deal breaker for me to not buy these phones

  40. I could easy empty that A53 battery in less then a day. It all depends on the use.
Good phone for most people with not the highest demands👍
But how do you know i has "good soundstage" by playing that song?
I don't think you quite know what soundstage is. And hope you disabeled the fake Dolby Atmos sound. That wrecks the sound. Hate that Dolby has started to put their logo on anything these days. Atmos on a phone (or a soundbar etc for that matter) is like having a Bugatti Veyron with a 4hp diesel engine compared to the real deal. Shame on Dolby

  41. wow, 25W fast charge- that is Huawei in..2018?

  42. if you like that check out the ULEFONE lineup

  43. What is the difference between a52s 5g and a53 5g?

  44. They need to add NFC to mid-tier phones. A lot of people miss out on tap to pay because they have a budget phone. Can't be that expensive to add it in. I would miss NFC more than wireless charging.
