A webcam has to be able to handle the lousy light at your desk. That’s the most important feature, ranking above 4K, motion tracking and gesture control.

  1. Thank you. I chose n bought Anker 300. Can't wait to get it.

  2. Web cameras are 4k but cnet's video is fullhd. yes Cnet's, yes technology channel. Also please don't forget to clean the computer screen.

  3. Seems like a nice guy but this review was useless … It would actually be helpful to show us the results of each camera.

  4. A very honest, insightful review!
Learned alot, as promised! I'm gonna go with the Anker PowerConf C300.
    Thanx for this!🙏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

  5. This would be far more useful if there were samples of what each camera does. Hearing someone's description just isn't a big help.

  6. Thank you so much for the clear explanation when I watch today ur review I decide to buy the Anker Powerconf c300

  7. Just bought dell ultrasharp here in Hyderabad, India. Love the quality and the windows hello. It's instantaneous. But it heats up like a mother… Nothing that concerning though. However it's got 3 year warranty. So went for it.

  8. test webcams and not show the image.. brilliant…NOT

  9. I don't know how you make a VIDEO REVIEW of webcams… and NOT actually show the VIDEO FROM THE WEBCAMS. Instead doing a screen recording… CNET thought it was ok to use a camera -> to record a screen -> of other camera…. ????

  10. very beautiful dear….amazing presentation ..speaks a lot about your passion and hard work..stay blessed and happy forevever….🙋‍♀🙋‍♀

  11. Been using the Brio which I purchased for $250AUD/$180USD pre pandemic in mid 2019. Still going strong and has good image quality. Inbuilt mic is terrible though so rely on bluetooth or usb mic for voice. It’s a shame Logitech hardly ever update the camera firmware and software though… I think it’s been updated once since it was released…

  12. I just buy a $5 webcam, wear a mask when going live and nobody ever complains about my looks. Saved $200 too!

  13. Kind of neat seeing this filmed from the garage!

  14. Brother.. clean your laptop. Funny to see these cameras in action on a bad dirty screen.

  15. I got the brio from Office Depot 4 months ago on clearance for 50$. I love it can use on my Windows and Mac pcs but the software on Mac that work with it is small and troublesome vs windows. I recommend the brio for window users.

  16. I'm a scientist

  17. I've been using the Brio for about a year now. The picture is so clear and definitely an upgrade to my laptop camera.

  18. Thanks for the video! Could you share what software you’re using for the comparison of all 4 camera?!? Thanks!

  19. Resume –
    Achivement- Expert webcam buyer

  20. You’re better off just using your old phone and connecting that vastly superior camera to your computer using a software like cam link or droidcam. Best part is that it’s free!

  21. osbot seems the most justified purpose buy for its mechanical tilt/pan auto-follow.
many devices already have a built-in web camera or many people already have a camera that plugs into a computer to serve also as a web camera, like a gopro. so having any of the other web cams is just for redundancy.
anyway, five years from now most (if not all) of these will be obsolete or irrelevant or at the very least, nothing special added.

  22. More important is the lighting for your face and the height of the webcam. All of this in the video is just extra.

  23. This guy is pretty likable, and a good narrator. However, I would expect much much better production than this video from CNET. It doesn't feel like they respect my time or attention. If you're gonna make videos professionally, have massive amounts of money and resources, you'd think someone would be tasked to make sure the shots are good, clean, double checked for mistakes. Like making us watch the output on the laptop screen, instead of inputting it directly, which would have eliminated the dirty screen issue. Seems like a small thing, but also seems like they don't care and just want the ad revenue.

  24. “How to buy a webcam to make you look the best” oh I don’t know, exchange currency for it?

  25. Dont think i need to stare at my coworkers in 4k…

  26. I sear in my desk's dirtiest days you can't find my laptop's screen this dirty like the guy's on this video 😄🤦‍♂

  27. will buy the Dell if it supports Mac

  28. Why do I feel like this should have come out 2 years ago. I upgraded to a Nexigo as soon as Zoom life began. If you haven't upgraded your camera by now, you never will.

  29. What’s the name of the Multi mount?

  30. None of the footage comes from webcams 🤔

  31. do me abonne win 1$

  32. Has anyone noticed the dirty screen ?😂 It's so annoying

  33. Are there any webcam or settings that I can limited the view to just a rigid square? All the new ones seem to track where I move and I don’t want to unintentionally expose too much of my surrounding.

  34. 'How to buy'? That's easy, 'How to choose' or 'How to pick' would be more useful. 🙂
