Awesome Tips Amazon Halo View review: A $80 Fitbit competitor

The Amazon Halo View is more affordable than most fitness trackers at $80. But you have to pay $4 per month after the first year to get most of its features. It’s a big improvement over its predecessor, which lacked a screen, but it still feels like Amazon is trying to figure out how to make its fitness offering stand apart from the competition.

  1. Lol I just got a promotion code that was 60 percent off and got it for 21 bucks

  2. Got mine through planet fitness for free

  3. Great video!! Very informative

  4. Why she run like that? 😮😂😂

  5. I have an Apple Watch series 8 and I got mine for free via planet fitness.

  6. Great video thanks

  7. I got mine from Planet Fitness. I’m still waiting for it in the mail. I’m excited.

  8. Quick tip for anyone that wants to get this absolutely free with a free Halo membership for 1yr, enroll with Planet Fitness and they’ll send you an Amazon code to get one for free within 48hrs. My enrollment with Planet Fitness was only $7. After I got the watch I cancelled the gym membership. I get free access to the gym through my job so I didn’t need it. So “technically” the watch only cost me $7.

  9. Wish is recorded your blood pressure and skin temp

  10. BMI is not an exact science. Trust your doctor more then a mindless stat.

  11. I ordered the Halo View and received this today. I plan to return it tomorrow. I was not aware before ordering it that I need to activate a $4 subscription in order to take full advantage of most of the features. Boomer😢I already have a Fitbit Charge3 that I am pretty happy with except for the battery life. Only ordered the Halo View because my husband found it on sale for under $100. Guess I should have done my research prior to ordering. I have no plan on tying myself to a subscription @4 a month/$48 a year.. I’m retired on a fixed income.

    Thanks for sharing your review.

  12. I bought one after Prime Day this year and paid the $49 for it. For that, I think it's a good deal. There are a couple of things I would like to see changed about it, though.

    1) They should add a connection to your phone's GPS. That seems like it would be an easy inclusion. I use mine when I'm rolling around outside (I'm in a wheelchair) and being able to track my miles directly on the band, rather than using another app, would be great.

    2) You should be able to do a workout on your TV with a Fire TV device. They have the ability to cast to Chromecast, but not to Fire TV, which to me is a baffling exclusion. There should be a Halo app for Fire TV.

  13. she fine

  14. Wayyyyy too many ads. Rather hear another opinion with just a fraction of the ads

  15. Lol, found a Amazon Halo band deal on Woot for $30. Doesnt even come with the screen like the View. Modify it and put it on my ankle. Save your moneh without all the distraction

  16. I just ordered mine yesterday for 52.95 on Ebay. I cant wait to get it.

  17. Love this this!! The app is amazing!!💙

  18. If they're going to cripple most of the features after the free year, they can keep it….and I can't believe they didn't address two key points in the product page on Amazon – watchface options/store?, and the type of screen and lens. If it's not OLED (almost certainly isn't, or they'd brag about it) and glass, I'd definitely stick with Huawei and Honor. Also, they seem to want to be as intrusive as Apple. They should probably offer lifetime free membership for Prime members. That said, it IS a decent deal if snagged during one of their sales where it's in the 50-60 dollar range

  19. Mi Band or Huawei Watch Fit is Better

  20. You keep saying “$4 a month 🙄” as if its a $50 a month subscription. I spend $9 on starbucks coffee sometimes. $4 a month is nothing to me and most people lmao

  21. This sounds like a off brand Fitbit and Fitbit premium

  22. Well it's certainly a lot less expensive then the FitBit and the subscription is only 4.99 a month (if you want it) vs the 10 or 15 dollars a month for Fitbit! Also the HALO was 1/2 price during the blk Friday deals!

  23. The Red hair is Horrible?

  24. I hope they add live HR tracking on your phone in the near future, my cheap wahoo HR monitor from 5 years ago has that feature…
