now this is a sleeper
16:40 you can0t really see air movement with a termo camera.
It's true, but there are other methods do see air movement.
of corse it would be overkill for you to rig up a mirror based air movement capturing rig but this would have been the right occasion for a collaboration with other youtubers who do this things
ore you could simply put some powder or cygarette smoke next to the pc
maybe an unpopular opinion but i kinda like the low humming of the fans
I want to see this updated with a 4090!
But when you go on their website they already put 2 fans on top of the case which defeats the purpose of all fanless passive cooling. I suppose you can just remove those but it's not going to cool as well and it's too closed up the design can use some improvements.
When he smeared thermal paste haphazardly with a q tip… yeah, that will make for good heat transfer…
Don’t do it this way kids… air gets trapped and causes the opposite effect of what compound is supposed to do.
Your thermal pasting job sucks, and I see now a few min after originally posting my comment, I see I was correct with the high heat spots.
doesnt even matter cause u mostly use headphones anyway and dont hear ur pc while its running on full load
We're at a point in graphics and raw CPU power, where we can easily scale back some of that power if it means fewer moving parts. No, it won't be as impressive, but aren't most of us gaming on years old hardware just fine?
I would be interested in performance if it had just dual 200mm Noctua fans. It would still be stupidly quiet and the temperature performance would be insane
And they still haven't started shipping yet…..doesn't bode well
This sounds like a case you don't want to run with the side panels off.
The whine from coils is because they used shitty epoxy on the coils. If the coils are fixed in place properly, there shouldn't be any chatter.
Pet peeve: "farther" != "further".
technically the cpu and gpu is full of small switches and stuff, but yeah, let's imagine this pc has no moving parts…
3080 running 4k games at 120fps? Sure bro.
just use something like a ryzen 5700x and a gtx 3070. Plenty enough resource and still very low tdp. This thing saves you all the dust cleaning headache. Would actually buy it
I think this review needs some improvement. It looks like it's a fairly good start on the product though it's really only going to cope well with mid range with any reliability to mid upper range loads if pushing it. It clearly takes a lot of extra work to get it all working. That'll be great for companies who build it for you. For the average person, even versus with self builds it might be a bit of a hassle. This kind of product might be useful for a niche that is ignored. I might be happy to not buy cutting edge stuff but instead always go midrange stuff that's not running a high bill or high temperatures and that lasts. A lot of people don't appreciate the importance of a PC that you don't want to worry is going to break down as they often do. Fans always bork sooner or later.
Why would anyone care if their PC is silent or not? What kind of a scenario are you in where you're using your computer without any kind of BG noise from applications, music, typing, etc?
Another method is suitable for residents with annual sub-zero temperatures. Simply route the tube with the heat exchanger through the wall directly to the street. Profit.
4:55 available and shipped to dozen of happy customers… 17:50 email-informing us, that this was the very first case off the line. WTTF am I missing something??? after more than a year they apparently still arent produsing it…
Hi … u guys should collaborate with a company called Frore systems … I.e their air jet cooling system and make a video comparing traditional vs exotic cooling systems … I.e fan vs water vs LN2 vs air jet vs other solid state cooling vs something like the one in this video and compare them
Where the taming tests at
3:40 I was gonna say "or just don't be an absolute wet noodle" but then I remembered I was watching a PC enthusiast channel
Imagine a situation at 2:00 AM when your wife complaining about sounds coming out from mouse buttons after all 🙂
I prefer PC with only fans
im guessing making it fanless doesnt lower its cost at all in fact opposite and adding difficult mounting and maintaning anything inside only to eliminate small noise fans make its completly not worth it
@21:34 is that a LLT Screwdriver in your pocket or you just happy to see me?
Now hit the heat sinks with a leaf blower and test again
Could you potentially use the piezoelectric fans from your other video in this PC?
something with that much metal looks like it would do a nice job drawing heat away, but it makes me wonder. if left on 24/7, would heat build up, and then it would maybe stay too hot? assuming a room temperature of like 70. — it could have one really big, slow spinning, and very quiet fan to draw heat off the top. if the fan were set to auto, it could maybe shut off for long periods of time. it does look nice
We forgot to mention the $700 price tag for a bunch of heat spreaders lol
You lost a lot of fans with this build…
man this thing is pretty fuckin stupid
Idk I like the van noise. Dead silence is so uncomfortable for me
