Why nobody ever is testing these things in dark water rivers? Testing in clear water is not really what you can call ''a test''.

  1. Thank you!

  2. Could you use it for ice fishing in the cold water it would be awesome to drill one hole and look around the area to see if there was any fish within its reach

  3. Will it work in fresh water?

  4. I definitely wanna get this for future vlogs.

  5. They should be able to improve the impeller design to be more rock friendly

  6. Until the cord gets stuck on a branch or rock…..no thanx.

  7. 49 Foot depth is weak sauce when talking about under water depths.

  8. How much from underwater?

  9. I seen someone else’s video and it packed up working and two goes plus the app doesn’t work on most phones if your thinking of buying any underwater drone watch more videos of not just this one but any your basically paying 500. Dollars for a forty dollar child’s toy

  10. What's a fuckin' BOOEY when it's at home?! 😀

  11. drones in the air don't need to be tethered, and can stabilize themselves in wind.

  12. Me who was looking for a 50 dollar one

  13. i am looking at getting one of these. I read a lot of reviews where people had a lot of issues with the ap, the rov itself. how long have you had it? any issues? do you recommend?

  14. 4 pounds isnt 1.1 lol

  15. Question, can we replace the Chasing Dory cable with a longer one? greetings from Concepcion Chile!

  16. If the GPS gives you relative orientation, then a digital compass might not be needed, and maybe a sort of grid screen over the thruster ports to keep out weed and gunk, this would be so versatile. I'll bet the few minor problems you encountered with this model will be addressed in a future model. Good luck!

$500 is steep for this for me. If it had a better camera and light and SD card slot Id be Happier. The App seemed a bit cruddy and had connection issues with my android phone. I got a waterproof case for an I pad and it works awesome. Chasing did get back to me fast and wanted to help me fix the problem. It would cost more to build your own.

  19. That is an expensive toy to loose to tree branches inevitably present at bottom of lakes. Cool gadget although video quality is so-so; interesting review!

  20. Imagine if they made these for the air!

  21. This looks AWESOME!!!! 😀😀😀

  31. Wedding photographers in the future be like:
    Fashion wedding photography
    Vintage wedding photography
    B&W wedding photography
    UNDERWATER Wedding Photography

  32. Going to go find the Titanic, bye.

  33. "It weights 4lbs or 1.1kg" 🤔 Only in America.

  34. Interesting, but I'm not sure I'd buy it, because at the beginning it'd be 1 or 2 hours of playing with it and having fun, but after that I'd probably get bored with it, and as it's just a toy without any practical use cases (for me) it'd probably regret buying it.
One technical suggestion for the manufacturer: Maybe it'd be a good idea to put the battery in that floating Wi-Fi module and make it easily replaceable (e.g. one in use, another one charging). It'd make that drone useful for people who search for stuff underwater more professionally – those search sessions often take hours/days straight.

  35. What about salt water does it do well in salt water

  36. This but with a gyro and a better camera. I hope DJI goes this route in the future.

  37. Love it

  38. Let me know when it's wireless.

  39. 👊👍😎😁😚👌🤙💯
