  1. I don’t understand why nothing was said about what I would think a primary purpose of underwater computer servers would be: protection from damage in Carrington Events, massive solar fares/plasma ejections. This is an inevitable disaster for the current data storage and transfer systems that does not get enough attention.

  2. "data has a shorter distance to travel than if it's stored somewhere in the middle of the country". ???????? surely not. the number of people within 100 miles of a data centre will always be greater if the datacentre is on land. as only those in the direction of the coast will be "close" to an off-shore data centre whereas those in any direction will be "close" on land.

  3. Haha SEA Servers

  4. That photo with the seal is the worst photoshop job I've seen in a while…

  5. The sea life gets great server pings. Good for the schools.

  6. I just wanted to let microsoft and anyone reading this know that their products are garbage and most likely greedily and purposefully creating xbox controllers that malfunction and crap out in a couple/few months to try and get you to buy more. I have had 5 xbox controllers in the past 6-7 months and NOT ONE controller functioned the way it is supposed to and every one has malfunctioned; whether that be a stuck analog with bad drift, another with a bad censor in the analog that can't detect input, another brand new controller that completely died that you could not power on (within a month), a used controller that came with the xbox that I bought, and last but least, a wired scuff controller with 3 buttons on the back but only one button works. (also was programmed where you could NOT change sensitivity in any games options menu). I will NOT be buying anything from microsoft again.

  7. Is it possible to release the videos with CC for English learners and also people with hearing impairment or hearing loss?

    what about climate change…warming the oceans…polar icecaps…

  8. Ok so..
    1) The Ocean offer great computer cooling capabilities.
    2) StarLink internet is now making it so you can get high speed net anywhere.
Time to toss my gaming pc into the ocean… 🙂

  9. Putting cloud underwater does makes sense but sounds so weird. 😂

  10. Ceramic containers might last forever if made right. Oceans offer free cooling at depth.

  11. Will there be an environmental impact?

  12. Xbox just went down because of one of these blowing up

  13. From the Cloud into the abyss, nice. We need new shapes for our schematics 😁

  14. Seems the Piratebay is due for a rebranding.
    How about shipwreck coast.

  15. Microsoft HD for CP.

  16. Microsoft: makes pledge to go carbon neutral for the environment
Also Microsoft: makes plans to put huge heat syncs in the ocean

  17. It keeps them cool and the cooler they are the less data loss from heat. And things are only obselete because you are impatient and greedy. We just wanted the job done by something so we could be more relaxed in life.

  18. C'est une très bonne idée cela doit être un avenir et intégré un système de circuit d'eau en profondeur qui revient sur terre pour générer de l'électricité qui va alimenter ses serveurs sous-marins

  19. Now they are going to mess with the marine life ecosystem. Great.

  20. To keep them cold 🥶 why else

  21. Please leave the oceans alone

  22. The environmental waffle is just that – waffle! They seem to have forgotten that they will need to send recovery ships all over the world to haul them up and down every few years so that will likely negatively offset any so called benefits

  23. the background is security so that no one would have access to it physically congrats the meta data collected from you is secure and they have everything against you and you can't destroy it

  24. Lmao 😂 Microsoft propaganda they actually said the fish enjoy it

  25. I really hope that they have some serious security for these things!

  26. Ok computers dont like humidity so lets put it in the ocean. That just sounds funny lol

  27. I wonder how a few hundred or a thousand would effect the temperature, and how servicing them would effect the environment

  28. Like all other rich company's ,,,,,, to much money , that why they do these things

  29. His teeth is so white
