The thing has a USB-C connection. There is no reason this shouldn't work with a PC. Kind of strange Sony didn't capitalise on that given how poor sales of VR2 are anticipated to be. For the cost of some drivers & support they potentially double their target audience.

Playstation has always had the worst exclusives, and I expect their VR will be the worst again in about a year
Playstation did the same smart move they always do.
The headset itself is not the best on the market.
There are better headsets with higher resolutions , peripherals and fov if you can afford it.
But there are still
No games , except for half life alyx , thag im interested in.
This just launched and games for it are already miles ahead above anything available for pc vr games.
Once again , playstation understanda that at the end of the day , exclsuives win the game.

No they didn't. In fact with the new PCVR mods like the UE4 Injector from praydog and Dr Beefs mods, all the best stuff is going to be on PC. The PSVR2 has too many visual issues like SDE and MURA. Which is unforgivable and a side effect from using OLED. Not to mention the lackluster of games.
If PSVR2 ever gets PC support, or partners with steam to include their catalogue, or hell, just has a proper competitor to VRChat (not meta worlds) I will be on it like white on rice

Linus you have the tools, people and knowledge required to dissasemble the ps5 vr and put the oled screen in oculus or valve or whatever
You just said my question, I want a VR headset for SolidWorks, work, designing spacecraft comes first. Now if the Playstation headset worked with a PC and SolidWorks I could probably persuade myself to buy one, for work obviously and then since I had the headset it would just be crazy mad not to buy a PlayStation 5 console too. But a headset just for gaming, doesn't make financial sense unless your a hard core gamer, which I'm not.
Love to see the segues getting more creative and unpredictable again. Anyone else thought their segues got more telegraphed and predictable over time?

hope so PlayStation create a unique ecosystem for the Vr2 , new one, no like the Ps5 just one apart capable to run a apps and new games its kind of boring just the plane os SCREEN with all the games. WE WANT SPECTACULAR AND UNIQUE ROOMS PLEASEEE

I'd recommend checking out BigScreen's ultra light uOLED headset. It has SteamVR tracking, so just plug-n-play with an Index setup. It's coming out Q3 or so. It's a bit pricey but probably worth it.
GT7 is amazing with PSVR2. its a shame that it is tethered though.
And they have to pay 71$ to play online 👍😒 thats why i have sold my ps and never going back.
