It’s really sad the industry hasn’t made more of an effort to develop plug in hybrids with more EV range. The average person drives like 20 miles each way to work…meaning you could charge your car at home for 90% of your driving miles…and if you need to take a road trip, we already have gas stations everywhere…no need to have a huge electricity charging network. This would have been much quicker to make a difference in overall gasoline usage in this country than it’s going to be trying to make everything all electric.

It's funny how little CNET knows about their target demographic and the companies they cover. They trash talk Tesla every chance they get, misreport and hype Intel's overpriced chips instead of AMD, think Sony only builds the playstation, call paid promotions "reviews" and refuse to label them as ads, and believe that a overpriced, under performing $100,000 Chevy truck is 'highly anticipated' 🤣.
The new $100,000 Silverado fizzles like a wet fart, just like CNET's paid "reviews".

BMW's IX Flow is terrible. No appeal with that fascia and their colour-changing idea is pathetic and useless.
Mercedes Benz Vision EQXX I do like a lot but also reminds me of a number of high end Chinese EV cars.
Chrysler/Stellantis Airflow quite surprising in a positive way.
The battery pack gets damaged and they ask you to pay 20000$ to replace it? No thank you.

I think the point is not to look outside, but to enter the metaverse ( ╥ω╥ ) . . . then again car manufacturers will have the last laugh since we're headed for 5g- 6g or whatever is out by the concept's release. So by then everything will be connected to this new world IOT system what not. Then again the world will be in such a mess by then that the rich kids who ride this tech will likely not want to see how the world is, so they will connect to the most plastic over-the-top pink fashioned surrealist twitch stream to watch other kids play whatever the heck is trending then. And then LeoDicap will see an asteroid. ლ(¯ロ¯"ლ)
I just want an EV convertible. Something like the old Tesla roadster but, you know, affordable.
