Being able to delete the camera footage from the outdoor camera is a dealbreaker. What a dumb move.
+1 for not exploiting subscriptions. That was the worst invention they ever did on capitalism. Imagine you go to a grocery shop, get a tv, but you cant use because you have to subscribe to it. IT IS OUTRAGEOUS! SO +1 FOR EUFY for being reasonable

Given the recent revelations about Eufy, I'll take a hard pass on anything that company produces.
Any update on the facial recognition? I installed my Eufy cam 3 and base station 3 a few days ago. It does recognize my face but continues to send notifications. Also, it would be nice if I’m home mode it saved events to the base station but skipped notifications. I have not found a way to save all events minus notifications. In disarm it records nothing. Ideas?
🤬Was pretty much sold on Eufy until i came across all these news about massive privacy issues involving false claims by Eufy that users footage are stored locally only and not in the cloud.
Is that storm proof, continuous raining fogged my cctv inside the lens.

I just bought one and it arrived today. It was bounced around inside a box with no padding and I have yet to find out if it had not been damaged. You would expect such an expensive camera to be packed the right way, but no. Thank you eufy.

This aged well. China is recording your data and uploading it to the cloud. Its also running facial recognition as well. Eufy has been exposed.

DO NOT BUY EUFY! Privacy scandal just came out! They do in fact send recordings to the cloud with out your permission despite being marketed as a local recording system
Stay away from Eufy, Anker, and soundcore. Damn I didnt know they would be this bad. Just ruin their brand by uploading your information without concent and with no encryption to amazon server lol. I like Anker but now im stay away from those brands.
Make sure you check out the latest on Eufy details regarding their claiming not to upload to cloud but then doing so anyway, including images of your face(s). Also, Anker is a Chinese company so that should give some cause for concern. I had ordered them, excitingly due to the quality, but cancelled my order due to the above.
can this camera distinguish AT NIGHT between human and pet, so I get alerts only for humans? Eufy 2 could not do it (due to only infra-red night mode). thanks

You should really inform your viewers that Eufy has been caught uploading your private data to the cloud which is not encrypted and that your data is NOT private like advertised. Linus Tech trips recently talks about is in his podcast. I'll never buy EUFY again.

Has anyone installed the EufyCam 3 using a rain gutter mount (if yes, what brand/model did you use)? I have EufyCam 2 Pro's (362 grams/0.80 lbs) on a gutter mount but I'm concerned that the newer EufyCam 3 is a bit heavier (420 grams/.93 lbs) and might not be able to hold the camera upright.
I called euphy and asked if i could use this system with my lap top (don't have a smart phone) and was told i could only download their app to a smart phone. Does this sound right? I went to best buy for more information and they didn't know what an nvr or a dvr was.
These cams connect with base station using military encryption but how resistant are these cams against wifi jamming equipment / blocker you can easily get from aliexpress website since these cams use 802.11 b/g/n 2.4GHz Wi-Fi standard, it would be good to see such an execrise, that would tell us loads whether to stick to these so nowadays hyped stuff or stick to hard wired 24/7 cams.
I wish they had some different color offerings other than white. Maybe some wraps in black, brown, camo, etc.. I guess you could use duck tape. It does come in colors.
