The Arctis 5 headset we used is the original 2016 version, not the current 2019 revision. The newer revision adds extra ear cushioning, offers a couple EQ updates (and DTS Surround X 2.0, although the legacy Arctis 5 also received this via a software update), and has minor aesthetic changes. We welcome these updates, but they don't change our overall verdict on the headset. Apologies for the confusion!
Can we get a update version of this

Do not buy the corsair hs60's, the 3.5mm to usb dongle is TRASH, it will die on you within a year, with no way to replace or return it, leaving the mic unusable unless you use it with the 3.5mm jack strictly for ps4 controller headphone jack gaming.
So which ones are the best?
On those hs60s I had hs65s and the audio cut out happen randomly every now and then.
Wish I had seen this video before I wasted my money on that very Turtle Beach headset
Why not include the corsair hs80?
Got super excited after seeing this, then saw it was uploaded 3 years ago
I'd be shocked if these things haven't doubled in price by now.
Why have anything in a Roundup if it isn't good? Isn't that the point of a Roundup. They all seem to come with pretty significant cons
All of these are trash.
New version of this please
Well im not buying any if those
This white headset was so bad with mic that subtitles turned on, and even youtube can say that they are bad
офигеть! зачем ты держишь столько китайцев у себя?
6:54 This dude should be the president of the USA
We need a new one
no name in vain pls G J C not g j c
MSRPs of $XX.99 are a form of gaslighting. Stop lying to us!
Can you please redo another 100$ Gaming Headset including labtest.
I myself use the wired "Corsair HS65 Surround" and would like this and other compared.
I've had hs 60 pro for 3 years id buy them again
Just one word: BEYERDYNAMIC …..everyone love them, so clear good sound, best value for many, like te cars from Germany
I have the Kingston Hyper x Cloud 2 gaming headset Red and i like that headset.
And the design of the Razer Blackshark V2 looks almost like that of the Cloud 1 and Cloud 2 gaming headsets of HyperX.
Almost Time for a new headset video comparison.. !! I am in my journey for a new one.. have order like 6/7 different ones all of them disappointing me.. any one good recommendations ? !
the audio technica model is almost $200 now
They definitely should do another one of these!
I dont have the arctis 5 i have the 3 but the console version so the cable is very short cause im using it on a gaming laptop
just from the description none of these sound better than a pair of kz ksn pro in ear monitors with an in-line mic and those are only $25
I have the Turtle Beach Recon 200 (2nd gen). It seems to be way better than most of these when it comes to price and mic quality. Most of these headsets, you can tell you're talking through a headset mic, I don't know how to explain it. I'm surprised the Stealth 600 mic was so poor, considering that it's priced higher than the Recon.
Recon 200 (1st Gen):
Cons: Creaking plastic noise (sometimes), must be charged to use, uses pleather, it hurts my ears (but didn't bother my friend.) I have large earlobes. Uses Micro usb to charge.
Pros: Built in amp that blocks noise, very high/adjustable volume without distortion, speaking in the mic comes out clear. Cheap.
Cost: 59.99 originally, can get it on e-bay for $10.00.
Recon 200 (2nd Gen) is the same, but all of my complaints were fixed from 1st gen. They have made it so that even if the battery dies, you can use it as a normal headset, uses cloth instead, also charges via USB-C, and doesn't have the plastic creaking noise.(Also 59.99)
It's seems to be on par with the Audio Technica, I would honestly say either get the Recon 200 or the Audio Technica.
I don't like seeing wires
As we all know already, wires break
Wires are a major problem for me
I like headsets with detachable cables because you don't need to buy a whole new headset when your cable breaks
I've been running HyperX Cloud 2's for years now, on my 2nd pair of them and they're an amazing set for the price(about 150 AUD)
they punch far above their price tag in my opinion, with a solid mic, control switch on the cord that has both mic and volume controls as well as a 7.1 toggle
the mic is also removable if not needed
in the box they come with both fabric or synthetic leather(my only criticism of the set is these, they tend to fall apart after a year or so however replacement ones are pretty easy to get a hold of)
The turtle beach headset always snaps or brakes after a year or so and I use to love the brand.
7:43 ???? dont lisen to this crap cloud 2 can beat every headset there easly lol
The Arctis 5s are nice, but if you have a big head then the strap will get worn out faster than a Hooker on the Vegas strip.
Stay classy gang
I am going crazy trying to find a headset. I only care about audio.
So what your saying is headsets like everything else have all gone to shit.
Wow, these all seem bad
How hard can it be building a half way decent headset for under 100$?
I call bullshit.
